  • If heat exhangers construction was carefully under quality control, there would be far less failures of heat exchangers within a few years of service. In my estimation, the metal is too thin, and the designs are the least expensive that can be achieved. . Seams of any kind do not belong in heat exchanger chambers or tubing. Yet many do have seams and thin wall construction.
