The cake is absurdly tough on the Revolution Hack. 3000 HP, it can heal itself 300 HP, and worst of all, you have a turn limit to kill it otherwise it explodes and wipes your party out.

Pretty much all my items were always only Pick me up. Since it get you back at full hp and actually cost less then most mushrooms, I really never saw point of having mushrooms at all.

The HP limit in the game is 255 unless you're playing the modded version of the game that increases the level cap to 50.

In Booster's Tower (First time you go) You have to correctly find the paintings and then he will drop a key. Once done go back to the locked room and Bowser will get a pet Chain Chomp (Or a weapon)

I have this game and still play it to this day. I'm always trying to find out new combinations with the HP POW and STAR levels to see if I can make my characters stronger.

One thing to remember is on odd numbers 1 3 7 9 11 for example, select POW. for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, select the star for Magic Attack/Defense. and with 2, 4 6, 8, 12, 14, 16, 18 etc, pick "HP" to increase your life points.

This will even out your character's abilities so that you are pretty equal in each one.

Man, I remember this game from way back in the day. I'd stay up till 4 am playing it. I had tons of trouble withthe cake, till I discovered you could geno whirl it. I know it didn't kill it out right, but it did something that really helped. can't remember right now what it was tho. oh well, still one of the best games ever.

i heard that if you max your characters stats (with gameshark), you can attack chef torte but after he uses his "stop it!" attack he is invincible.

yeah, actually i was able to fight that shy guy that i was talking about, the one in kero sewers, it always gives you lucky and it gives you 20 experience points, you just have to be really damn quick to fight and kill him in 1 turn :)

Hehe, this was my very first RPG game and is still my favorite game of all time. This hard mode thing is starting to get ridiculous though. The next area has monsters hitting over 160 and I don't even have a character with 120 hp yet ;-;

And yesh, the cakes are getting on my last nerve now.
