u seem like a very nice person. with a good hobbie. i myself fancy myself a pipe smoker im 16 and ive already made a reversed kiser with wooden bowel and mouthopiece and a metal stem instead of a wooden stem and a metal bowel and mouthpiece. i havent expierience any real pipe tobaco tho because of my age. so far i just used it to smoke ciggerett tobacca that i mixed with some vanilla extract. its ok but im sure your colection of tobaccos are far superior.
I'm surprised that you didn't like FMOTT. But, from your other videos, I get the impression that your tastebuds favor much stronger and more robust tobaccos (which is completely fine, of course). I personally really like FMOTT. I do not find it peppery at all. The Latakia gives it a wonderful smoky flavor (it always reminds me of a campfire) and the Basma really makes it smooth and creamy. But as I always say, one of the great things about pipe smoking is everyone can enjoy it differently!
Im relieved that you tried on the town before I did! I dont like peppery blends, and I heard that stuff was the bomb. I was about to get some, until now. So thank you, pipefriend. I think our tastes in tobacco are very similiar.
I enjoy both Frog Morton across the pond and on the town. actually i'm working through on the town right now :) I do enjoy across the pond more but i dont have negative feelings about the OTT
There was always a long intermission during which patrons could repair to the restaurant at the Top of the Met or to the bar, smoke a cigar, have a leisurely drink at the Belmont lounge or, in Spring, go out into the Parterre terrace overlooking Lincoln Center plaza with its jetting fountain.
The strict economic necessity to avoid union overtime after Mignight has killed all that.
Haha, I know what you mean. Its hard to describe a tobacco as anything other than good or bad. I've never had on the town, but across the pond is great. If you like virginias you should try McClelland's Red Cake. I think it is a bulk blend though so i'm not sure if it comes in a tin at all. It burns really cool and evenly in the bowl. Probably one of my favorite VA tobaccos. I really like your videos, keep em' up!
I just finished a tin of Frog Morton Across the Pond. It is probably the coolest tobacco I've ever smoked! I thought about getting "on the town" but your opinion has swayed me not to. Thanks.
love ur videos, however i love every frog morton blend and would hate for it to go to waste so id u ever want to get rid of it let me know

I remember when you could still smoke your pipe (or a cigar!!!) at intermission at the Metropolitan Opera House, in New York. But never mind that...
The Tim West is gorgeous!

I wasn't really blown away with the Frog OTT either. I have been smoking a lot of Penzance, Sam Gawith's Commonwealth and McLelland's 5110 lately.

I'll trade you a 100g tin of ATP, (3 yrs old), and two 50g tins of regular FM for any Butera's Kingfisher you might have?

I might, it's true. Although, being in college and poor, I'd rather rely on the trusted opinion of PipeFriendCHS to SAVE ME MONEY!!! lol.
