I love to see that even the modern day masters revisit old work, these characters can be seen in Koike's 2009; film. "Redline" Excellent movie.

Oops. my mistake. Takeshi Koike did the character design and animation direction of Trava. He's the director of World Record.
yeah that are this guys..but this guys made the Samurai Champloo opening and Dead Leaves and some Gurren Lagann and Afro Samurai too.
