@mattbrw08 I agree He did screw up our country after 9/11 but this speech showed his resolve to get the people that did this, it's to bad he wasn't the one to get Bin Laden.
I think it's hilarious how all the Bush apologists are swarming in here trying to prop him up to take credit for killing OBL. Funny how you people aren't concerned about the billions squandered on these 2 wars in the mideast and all you got was 2 high value sand niggers that are now dead.
We did it George! Everyone know's you were the guy who went after him. You were the one who had the balls to go after Osama and Saddam. The American people are thankful, god bless Mr. Bush and America! Osama rot in hell!!!!!!
Empty rhetoric from the worst president ever. History will credit Obama for bringing down OBL, not George Walker Bush. This will in effect, cheapen Bush's.... "legacy."
@southport97 Completely wrong. First of all, Bush put troops in afghanistan and pakistan. It was Bush's vision, not Obama's. President Obama was simply continuing Bush's mission and agenda. And because of all the hard work from our Military and Bush's vision. We finally captured bin ladden. Also Sadam Hussein is dead thanks to BUSH. Two of the most dangerous men dead because of BUSH. And for all who said iraq didnt want to be liberated, look at all the mideast countries revolting for democracy.
@DanD3815 Actually, Bush gave up on getting Bin Laden after 6 months. It's one thing to say the military deserves more credit than Obama for getting Bin Laden, but to say Bush deserves the credit is just silly.
@friendofthefunk Oh really? when did Bush GIVE UP? when did he pull ALL the troops out of the region. You really are just looking for reasons to hate on Bush for w/e reason and it really is sad and pathetic that there are americans like you out there who just wanna rag on the country. Who decided to put the troops there and go after him in the first place? Yes it was Bush. Who deserves the majority of the credit? the military no doubt. Props to Obama for willing to finish Bush's mission.
@DanD3815 "I don’t know where he is, nor do I -- I really just don’t spend that much time on him, to be honest with you...I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him." -G.W. Bush on Osama Bin Laden, March 2002
@friendofthefunk And you honestly believe that they actually stopped looking for him. That couldnt have been a strategic plot to try and loosen then up a little? read between the lines. Look enough with the negativity towards your own country, go be bitter by yourself
@friendofthefunk hahahahahahahaha. your funny you think he gave up. he kept his troops their unlike obama. and he used the brutal ways at guantanamo bay to get anything out of the terrorists there and that is how they got their information about bin ladin back in 2007 that obama took credit for. ha
@rankinfam Let's look at what really happened. Bush repeatedly said he didn't care about Bin Laden, whereas even during the campaign before Obama was elected, Obama said we were focusing to many of our resources on Iraq and that was slowing the hunt for Bin Laden. Obama promised if he were elected he would get Bin Laden and even specifically said he would strike in Pakistan if necessary -- a pledge Bush MOCKED! Then Obama got elected and did exactly that. Credit where credit is due.
Yeah! Tough talk from Bush. Remember when he followed through on that bravado and captured Bin Laden? Oh wait...he didn't. He just got us stuck in Iraq for no reason and wrecked the economy. Never mind. I hope all of you leaving comments about missing this clown are millionaires who just miss the tax breaks. Otherwise you are idiots.
@friendofthefunk Your Democrat congress ruined the economy. It's gotten much worse since the joke of a president obama and his liberalvmillionaire cronies took power. Bush did the right thing based upon UN violations and he kept the war out of our borders.
@bobct1956 Hmmmm so the Democrats -- who only had their tiny majority for 2 years of Bush's presidency and could only pass Republican-friendly legislation that Bush wouldn't veto -- suddenly destroyed the economy? It had nothing to do with the actual economic policies of the administration that had been in power for 8 years, mostly with a Republican Congress that had been in power for 12 years?
As for keeping the war "out of our borders," that's just silly. There didn't have to be a war at all.
@friendofthefunk can you see obama doing this if anything like this happens? this video is meant to show how bush was a true leader when he visited ground zero and felt for the american people not so you can complain and act stuck up the ass about a former president because he makes obama look bad
@samuriguy909 Let me get this straight... The worst attack EVER on American soil happens on Bush's watch, after he spent his first 9 months in office literally setting the record for vacation time and ignoring terrorism completely. Then he stands on top of the rubble his negligence helped create and makes promises which he doesn't keep. That's a "true leader?" What a joke.
@friendofthefunk cant compare to the record breaking ammount of vacation time Obama has taken all throughout his first year of being in office especially by going on vacation on memorial day instead of attending the memorial day ceremony like every other past president has
@samuriguy909 Everything you just said is false. First of all, Obama DID attend the Memorial Day ceremony in Chicago, and in fact gave a speech. As for Obama taking more vacation than Bush in his first year, that's also nonsense. Obama took 26 vacation days. Bush took 69 -- that's more than double Obama's. Get your facts straight.
@samuriguy909 Sorry, but you're just plain wrong. He attended the ceremony at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (look it up) even during a torrential thunderstorm. The ceremony ended up getting rained out, so he gave a speech later that day at Andrews Air Force Base honoring the fallen. You can even see it on YouTube for yourself.
@friendofthefunk are you an obama supporter? do you support his major stimulus packgae that almost completely went to waist? do you like his poor handling of the BP oil spill? what about the phony nobel peace prize he received for sending 20,000 un needed troops to the mid east when one of his first promises in his campaign was that he would END the war. do you like the obama care he manged to pass that put doctors out of business and took away a small amount of freedom?
@friendofthefunk can you see obama doing this if anything like this again were to happen? bush gave this speech from his heart by from his voice. obama's speeches have a very monotoned note that you can tell are not sincere. there was no memo of 9/11. it was all a surprise hijack of planes that no one suspected by 19 al queada members. osama bin laden gave a confession speech. bush kept his promise by sending troops to kill insurgents. thats all i have to say
@samuriguy909 Funny, one would think that after erasing your own credibility with easily disproven claims like "Obama didn't attend a Memorial Day ceremony!" and "Obama took more vacations than Bush!" you'd stop making these claims. Yet you keep on making silly statements like "The stimulus package was wasted!" and "Health care reform put doctors out of business!" You're rooting for Republicans and against Democrats like they're football teams, with no regard for actual truth.
@friendofthefunk what truth? I keep asking the simple question in most of my replies asking "what truth?" or "what are you talking about?" the health care reform by obama did hurt many people, but obama even tried to force states to use his health care even though they have the right to refuse. what about arizona? he was suing his own state even though they have every right to search for illegal immigrants in THEIR state. obama puts his nose into everything like every other democrat does.
@samuriguy909 You don't know what truth means? It means an accurate depiction of reality -- you know as opposed to saying Obama didn't attend a ceremony when it can easily be verified that he did, or saying HCR put doctors out of business.
And give me a break with the "Democrats put their nose into everything" nonsense. The Bush administration interfered far more in state politics than any Democrat! You just don't call it overreaching in that case because you're blindly partisan.
@friendofthefunk dont give me that bs. obama stuck his nose into everything that had to do the arizone immigration law, not to mention the countless times bill clinton interfered with the mid term elections.
@samuriguy909 I find it amazing you are even still showing your face in this thread after showing unequivocally that you simply don't know truth from fiction. Bush trampled on states rights more than any president in recent history, but you say Obama "stuck his nose into everything" just because he voiced his opinion on a piece of state legislation? I'm sorry, but that's beyond absurd. It's okay to not know anything about politics and government, samuriguy -- just don't pretend like you do!
@friendofthefunk its not his right to stick his nose into state legislation. you just made it even more obvious how you said it. give a few examples of when bush "trampled on state rights" because you are literally only saying it happened because you love to think how you are so right but giving no examples so how could I know for sure without you only saying that it is so? the president does not have the right to interfere with state legislation. thats what the whole branch is for
@samuriguy909 You are really showing your lack of knowledge here. The Bush administration was actually famous for intervening in state issues: Same-sex marriage in MA, medical marijuana in CA, euthenasia in OR, No Child Left Behind, Terry Shiavo, California's Zero Emissions Vehicle Program & Clean Air Acts, etc., etc.. And All you have on Obama is that he is letting the Supreme Court determine if one highly controversial law is Constitutional -- which is exactly what the Supreme Court is for!
@friendofthefunk you missed my point, obama is stubbornly interfering with same sex marriage in multiple states. obama was also attempting to sue arizona himself for trying to pass a law in which protects their economy from illegal immigrants
@samuriguy909 Hahaha I didn't miss your point. You just change your point every time I prove you wrong. You claimed Obama didn't give a Memorial Day speech, so I sent you the link, and then you said "well, he wasn't sincere." You claimed Bush didn't interfere with state issues, so I listed several, and then you pretended that wasn't the point. See the pattern here? Now you're saying Obama is interfering with same-sex marriage in multiple states. Care to explain that ridiculous claim? LMAO!
@friendofthefunk you only fail to look around you, to miss how obama interferes with multiple states and gay marriage how he attempts to prevent it, how he interferes with arizona and tries to dismantle their constitutional rights, how obama did NOT attend the arlington cemetery for memorial day, how he passed his HCR which takes away freedom to choose your own healthcare and put doctors out of business, how bush is here giving a speech to comfort american people after attacks What was so wrong?
@samuriguy909 Obama didn't attend the Arlington ceremony, but he did attend a ceremony -- just like both Bushes and Reagan attended ceremonies in other cities instead of the Arlington ceremony during their presidencies. So if your point is that the president should attend that specific ceremony instead of another, then you have to indict every president in recent history except for Bill Clinton! Hahaha! See how your own easily disproven lies com back to bite you?
@samuriguy909 I also find it hilarious that you think "look around you" is some kind of convincing argument for your silly claims. Name one specific way Obama has interfered with gay marriage -- you can't because you just made it up. Name one doctor who lost his or her job because of health care reform -- you can't because you just made it up. Show me one passage of the HCR bill that says you can't choose your own health care -- you can't because you just made it up. See the pattern? LMAO!
@friendofthefunk Actually there has been a loss of employment from healthcare reform, especially in our region. No one wants it or needs it. Obama isnt DOING anything, he'll be gone after this term.
@friendofthefunk What exactly is your point? Of course people are going to go to the white house to celebrate, just like they went to ground zero and time square...thats nothing out of the ordinary....use some thought process buddy instead of making you sound completely uneducated.
@DanD3815 Awwww somebody wants some attention. My point was pretty clear, and thanks for the insults, but I don't think you're convincing anyone you know what you're talking about just by calling other people uneducated. Maybe Obama will be elected, maybe not. We'll just have to wait and see.
@DanD3815 Hmmm more insults without content. Yeah you're really showing how superior your education is now! You really have no sense of irony, do you? The day after Obama fulfills his promise to get the man who killed thousands of Americans on Bush’s watch – you go to a video of Bush's failed, empty promise and criticize Obama. Neither timing nor logic is on your side, and insults don’t help your case. You played yourself.
@friendofthefunk Ok but this had nothing to do with what Obama did. This war was set in motion before Obama came into office, just like the events that led to the 9/11 attacks came to fruition during a time when Bush WASNT in office. Look up the history of big manhunts, it takes time. It took 13 years to find the unibomber for example and there are plenty more I wont list them ill let you look them up. It took time to track down and the military did it.
@friendofthefunk It ad nothing to do with a president failing. These manhunt investigations take time. You can't fathom just how difficult it is to track down this man in such a remote area and being completely hidden constantly. Its no turkey shoot, even for the US military. So no, Bush didn't fail and Obama didnt do anything different then whats been going on this whole war. It just took time for the intellegence to materialize. So I didnt "play myself" idk what ur talking about..neither do u.
@DanD3815 Bush on Bin Laden 6 months after this video: "I don’t know where he is, nor do I... I really just don’t spend that much time on him, to be honest with you."
@samuriguy909 Hahaha! Again? You said that before! Well I don't blame you. It's gotta be painful for someone obviously incapable of admitting he was wrong to be so thoroughly proven wrong over and over and over in succession about every single thing he says. Humiliating really. I suggest you stop trying to debate things you know so little about.
@samuriguy909 HAHAHAHAHA! Why are YOU still replying? You're the one who claimed you were done! Scroll down about 5 comments. Yesterday you said "im done with you." So now I've even proven you wrong about what your own words were! HAHAHA this is great.
@friendofthefunk what is so negligent about standing on the rubble and giving a very important speech? the only promises he made were "the people who knocked these buildings down will soon hear all of us" indicating that he would attack the terrorists that flew the planes into the buildings which he has done, but is being ruined by Obama's so called "peace plan" by sending 20,000 MORE un needed troops to afghanistand
@samuriguy909 I didn't say standing on the rubble was negligent. I said Bush's negligence (i.e. completely ignoring terrorism and even famously ignoring a memo specifically predicting terrorists flying planes into tall buildings) helped cause the rubble.
@samuriguy909 There were several memos, starting with the Jan 25 memo saying a meeting on Al Qaeda was "urgently needed" (a meeting that never happened). And how could you forget the famous memo entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack in U.S."? Bush did nothing before 9/11 and you're impressed that he shouted empty promises into a bullhorn after it was too late.
@samuriguy909 LMAO! You have no more lies for me to easily refute? Aw what a shame. Some advice: in the future you might save yourself some embarrassment by not relying on right-wing blogs without verifying them with some legitimate source first.
Wow I miss this man. I still can't believe that people thought it was a good idea to place the kenyan clown into the oval office, what an embarrassment.
Democrats have their head so far up their asses on foreign policy and war that its almost a joke.
They think that peace and love will always work...Ya, lets see them try to make peace with some guy wont admit the Holocaust existed...And people who say they want every American dead.
Yes I totally agree with you. Bush has done the dirty job (even if it wasn't him who was deciding) by attacking Iraq and Afghanistan in the first place. I want to see 'Obama the noblepeaceprice winner;'Make the first tough decision, by attacking a foreign country or terrorist group by himself.. He would Never have Been in Afghanistan so He would never have had the possibility to for example attack Pakistan with drones like he and Biden said they would do. Obama owes Bush alot more than he wishes
i want put a group of peace and love people in iraq and see if they can either persuade the terrorists that war is bad or if they get taken as hostages or get their heads blown off.
people who say "coexist" ya...um...
i don't really wanna co-exist with someone who is trying to kill me!!!
@CommodoreCronauer People, humans are warmachines.. those who've survived the middle ages.. those who have survived the time where one tribe was taking over lands of other tribes.. they have All ancestors with a lot of blood on their hands.. only the meanest, deadliest, ugliest, merciless humans survived. Our ancestors were blood thirsty animals.. so it's an illusion to suggest that peace is what makes the world.. no.. It's war.. it's fighting for You and your tribe. The deniers get killed.
@CommodoreCronauer you know.. look at what's happening in Yemen. After the xmas failed terrorist attack Obama 'ordered airstrikes' to be carried out inside Yemen. By the way Fort Hood and the Xmas plane very well be CIA missions in order to 'go after al qaida inside of Yemen'. But Should the xmas attack or the fort hood attack have been carried out during Bush his precidency.. He would have totally flattened anything that had to do with Al qaida in Yemen. Smoke them out of their holes!!
@CommodoreCronauer "Bush was a great man" You speak in the past tense as though he died. If that's the case, then I agree with you. The only thing Bush was "great" at was making the world laugh at America. How can anyone with half a brain claim that Bush laid the groundwork for the capture of OBL?? Bush pulled out of Afghanistan (where OBL was reportedly hiding at the time) and started invading Iraq for oil. Wow, some hero and strategist .
If we invaded Iraq for oil....then why is gas sitting at $4 a gallon? And even if we did invade Iraq for oil, we wouldn't have had to if the environmental people would just let us drill and use every other natural resource we have here in America. 'm in Pennsylvania, we got Marcellus Shale (natural gas to last us for a very long time) yet we can't even go after that. Algae and Ethanol (biofuels) aren't the future.
And where in my comment did I even mention Bush getting Osama?
@southport97 we never pulled out of Afghanistan and we didn't invade Iraq for Oil. We invaded Iraq to take Saddams power away, Saddam killed millions of his own people, he was a threat to the US and probably had something to do with 9/11. Who cares if he didnt have anything to do with 9/11 though? The world is a much safer place without him. Obama got intel from Gitmo. Obama wants to close gitmo because we treated terrorist "poorly". Bush got all the intel for him. The US military killed OBL
@Albyiscool Yes he is.. Thx to Obama the US doesn't matter anymore.. because Obama will say anything just to keep everybody happy. He Never Chooses the New Way to go, he is only following the mainstream.. The thing that is suspected of an average politician who doesn't want to be.. "The one being different." When Bush had a speech.. The World listened because: Bush was pointing out "the New Way to go" for the world. Now with Obama it's like:Oh whose that black guy and where is the US president.
@Albyiscool And remember this.. because it will get much worse. Within the Obama presidency period.. the US will become a third world country. McCain was the US it's last hope.. but too bad McCain chose for Palin as his side kick.. that ruined his chances. The most popular governor in Alaska doesn't automatically mean being the most popular side kick in the rest of the US.
A third world country? ahahah ur even more ignorant than I first perceived. Obama isnt the root of all evil you dumb conservative prick. He never had a chance in the first place. McCain's old way of thinking wouldve put us in a worse place than we are at this moment. We had a failure as a president and now we have to dig our way out of it. Let the president do his job, then judge him.
@LoganWGum remember my words.. you can't say that you haven't been warned. And wow.. dig out..? I would rather say.. Obama is digging in deeper and deeper. You need McCain in times of war.. Not this Obama.. why you have to be so naive about your own future.. You Really got this illusion that.. Obama's 'Tough diplomacy' is getting you anywhere? Obama would never have been able to carry out Pakistan drone attacks.. without Bush.Jr invading Afghanistan first. Would Obama invade Afghanistan?
I love the United States of America and it has been truly frustrating to see her take such knocks by many around the world all for the poor leadership that bush provided. I wish America well
This man has blood on his hands. He must be racked with guilt now, sitting at home in Texas, his head spinning with the thoughts of plunder and pillage that was carried out on his command. The world will never forgive this man. Only staunch Neo-cons continue to blindly support his policies in Iraq. I wish President Barack Obama the very best in clearing up the mess THE TOTAL MESS that Bush has left the credibility of America as a force for good in world.
Are we 'safer'? If we did nothing post 9-11 and we were attacked again killing 4232 Americans and wounding 25,000 the country would be in an uproar. Well, Bush accomplished the same result... 4232 dead, 25,000 wounded at the hand of terrorists... but managed to spend a trillion dollars or so while destroying our countries credibility too. What a hero.
I remember this clearly. The firefighter said a few words, handed the bullhorn to Bush & started to get down from the rubble. Bush pulled him back so he could drape an arm around his shoulder. It was obvious that Bush would use anyone, even in a moment of deepest loss, to move his agenda.Bush is not stupid. He is an elitist con man. He uses his good-ol-boy facade to turn his base into pawns in a game of world control. My head was reeling- it was clear that many more people were about to die.
President Bush is a man of his word. He will never stand down. The American people cannot stand down either. Let us never forget what happened that day.
@StudioKam Ah yes a man of his word -- except when the words are about wiretapping, torture, WMD, Valerie Plame, or any of the other things he was caught lying about.
i read a statistic that says only 34% of americans believe the official story of 911, 55% dont and the rest cant make up their mind an unrelated survey also found 34% of americans have a very low iq.... lol
You people are fucking retarded. like 4 real what the fuck is wrong with yall. 19 fucking people led by fucking douchebag bin laden who lives in a cave, organized the most complex plan to invade the us. then highjacked 4 FUCKING planes and hit 3 fucking buildings, and we are the most technologically advanced nation in the world, but they pulled it off. you know what's even more funny? cheney had our defense running drills for the same exact thing that happened and our pilots couldn't differ from
the planes on their radar and the hijacked ones??And you dumbfucks just eat that shit up! seriously, we are so far ahead of everybody technology wise you couldn't tuck your dick between your legs without the government noticing! We can find sadaam in a heartbeat...but osama bin inspector fucking gadget, we can't find him for 8 years. po fucking leaz. we know where bin laden is. he's probably in the whitehouse chillin with W. I've never seen a poorer excuse for an american than you people. HELLO!
He'd better start whoopin his own ass because he and cheney knew it was going to happen...I bet you when he got there he was like "damn, I did I pretty good job lying to these people"...FUCK BUSH!!!!!
A interesting fact about this video clip. The older fireman standing beside of President Bush was actually a retired New York fireman named Bob Beckwith. After 911 he came down and volunteered to help in the recovery. They refused to let him since he was retired and up in age, yet somehow he snuck in anyways and by sheer luck ended up standing by the President during this famous moment in history.
please VOTE FOR JOHN SYDNEY MCCAIN SARA PALIN ON NOV 4TH 2008 TUESDAY USA AMERICA AMERICANS FIRST ! :) FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT oBAMA'S ILLEAGAL AUNT GOT DEPORTED AND HIS GRANDMOTHER DIE !
The man seems like a good guy on a personal level but he was by no means a good president. He was without a doubt one of the worst presidents in modern times.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I hope Vincent Bugliose gets his way and Bush is soon prosecuted, for supporting terrorism, lying, illegal wars, illegal prison camps, torture, evedropping on decent civilians and soldiers serving in Iraq, trampling the constitution instead of stickin to his oath to defend it with all his might. He's a shame for the West. He's a disgrace for democracy, he's a disgrace for the presidency and he's definatly not a leader not a statesman of any kind. He'll g down in history as a criminal.
The secret service asked the old man to get up on the burnt fire truck and jump, before duyba got on it, I guess the old man is expendable. Bush is no war time president he was never IN A WAR!
@loveoldsongs O-PUHLEEZE Don't tell me how wonderful Dubya was. All he did was WEAKEN a nation and help his cronnies make alot of $ off oil. NG my ass no one has EVEN came forward that can say they served with Dubya and where are his records??? OBL family dumped $ in Dubya's FAILED business's. F-ING read about the Bush Crime family before you post! yer barken up the WRONG tree!
I am saddened by what a bunch of weak ass punks we have in this country. Most of you douchebags didn't bother to step up to defend your country then, and you are content to indulge in bashing it and our president now as if it were cool to do so.
Fuck you! Why would we want to defend this country for bush. There is nothing to defend! We are killing innocent people for oil. This war has been planned for a long time before 9/11. Bush should be in prison, not in the fucking white house. N Fuck all you sheeple who don't want to realize that 9/11 was set up. The 9/11 commission report is a conspiracy theory. The evidence for 9/11 being an inside job is common fucking sense. you believe 19 muslims led by a caveman infiltrated the us. lol sheep
dude harper, calm down, get laid and get a life and stop being closed minded, wtf does a president or administration gain by bombing his own country, NO president wants to go to war.
you guys just use 9/11 as an excuse to hate bush, idc what bullshit statistic you read up and tell me, even if it was obama i wouldn't never believe our own government would attack us. so do us all a favor and shut your mouth and stop talking like you're a wigger.
There's ZERO evidence against Bin Laden, for 9/11. Not even a charge about a rol in 9/11, from the FBI. Don't believe it? Check the FBI website!
Havent't you noticed that Bush didn;t show any sign of mourning the 3000 deaths, those days? All he did is talk war to the men in caves. His old USA sponsored Taliban allies aginst the Soviets!
Everyone was for this war at this time. I don't think any American can deny that they were ready to grab a gun themselves and hunt down those responsible for 9/11. I can remember watching this live on TV and boy did it get my blood boiling. If only our country could go back to when our national resolve was so high and all Americans felt like brothers... :(
Who gives a flying FUCK if you hate him or not? Jesus all you idiots posting comments about Iraq and shit that has nothing to do with this video. All the video is about is a president telling the guys on the ground that Bin Laden isn't safe hiding in his cave anymore like a pussy. But the liberals come running with the "This war is illegal, impeach him!". When this war personally effects you come talk to me until then quit bitching and keep enjoying liberal paradise where terrosim doesn't exist.
He set 9/11 up please! blame it on Clinton the towers were attack in 93 and he didn't do anything about it.Infact the US was attacked more than once during Clinton USS Cole Embassy Bombings and people still say he was a good president. Clinton even lied under oath on the Monica Scandal He's at Falt not BUSH
You people are awful. Must you politicise everything. I can't stand Gore or Clinton, but i'm not going to say that they caused the 1993 WTC bombings or were behing the OK City bombings. I don't mock Gore as he talks about the tragedy of Columbine. There are things more important than politics and you need to grow up and realize that.
Well said! I couldn't stand B. Clinton, but I can't say he was to blame for the 1993 bombing of WTC towers either. I think he could've done more than he did afterward about terrorism, but I can't blame him for it! There was a lot of other things I disliked him/could blame him for, but not that!
@loveoldsongs O-PUHLEEZE All Dubya did was WEAKEN this nation! F-ING READ! before you post The Bush CRIME family did nothing to help this country at all whatsoever! To bad that Iragie reporter missed his head when he threw his shoes at him!!!
I'm a Vietnam veteran, and a survivor who escaped with my life, when the towers came down. This lying S.O.B. of a president made a half-assed attempt to get Bin Laden, and then diverted our loyal troops to fight an "illegal" war in Iraq! Now in March 2008, after 3000 soles died,as well as 4000 of our brave troops fighting this fiasco, Bin Laden is still free, all in the name of weapons of mass destruction.Impeach this CLOWN!!!
This was the speech that made me feel like All Americans were united, to bad it didn't last.

@mattbrw08 I agree He did screw up our country after 9/11 but this speech showed his resolve to get the people that did this, it's to bad he wasn't the one to get Bin Laden.

I have to give 2 people credit for Bin Laden's capture/kill
George Bush for sending the Attacks and not being afraid for his actions that makes a good President (Sometimes)
Barack Obama for planning out the Mission and keeping it top secret and trying his hardest to bring down Terrorist

Who decided to put the troops there and go after him in the first place? Yes it was Bush. Who deserves the majority of the credit? the military no doubt. Props to Obama for willing to finish Bush's mission.

@friendofthefunk hahahahahahahaha. your funny you think he gave up. he kept his troops their unlike obama. and he used the brutal ways at guantanamo bay to get anything out of the terrorists there and that is how they got their information about bin ladin back in 2007 that obama took credit for. ha
rankinfam 8 months ago

Otherwise you are idiots.
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk Your Democrat congress ruined the economy. It's gotten much worse since the joke of a president obama and his liberalvmillionaire cronies took power. Bush did the right thing based upon UN violations and he kept the war out of our borders.
bobct1956 1 year ago
@bobct1956 Hmmmm so the Democrats -- who only had their tiny majority for 2 years of Bush's presidency and could only pass Republican-friendly legislation that Bush wouldn't veto -- suddenly destroyed the economy? It had nothing to do with the actual economic policies of the administration that had been in power for 8 years, mostly with a Republican Congress that had been in power for 12 years?
As for keeping the war "out of our borders," that's just silly. There didn't have to be a war at all.
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk can you see obama doing this if anything like this happens? this video is meant to show how bush was a true leader when he visited ground zero and felt for the american people not so you can complain and act stuck up the ass about a former president because he makes obama look bad
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 Let me get this straight... The worst attack EVER on American soil happens on Bush's watch, after he spent his first 9 months in office literally setting the record for vacation time and ignoring terrorism completely. Then he stands on top of the rubble his negligence helped create and makes promises which he doesn't keep. That's a "true leader?" What a joke.
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk cant compare to the record breaking ammount of vacation time Obama has taken all throughout his first year of being in office especially by going on vacation on memorial day instead of attending the memorial day ceremony like every other past president has
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 Everything you just said is false. First of all, Obama DID attend the Memorial Day ceremony in Chicago, and in fact gave a speech. As for Obama taking more vacation than Bush in his first year, that's also nonsense. Obama took 26 vacation days. Bush took 69 -- that's more than double Obama's. Get your facts straight.
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk nope obama did not attend the memorial day ceremony. get your facts straight
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 Sorry, but you're just plain wrong. He attended the ceremony at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (look it up) even during a torrential thunderstorm. The ceremony ended up getting rained out, so he gave a speech later that day at Andrews Air Force Base honoring the fallen. You can even see it on YouTube for yourself.

@friendofthefunk are you an obama supporter? do you support his major stimulus packgae that almost completely went to waist? do you like his poor handling of the BP oil spill? what about the phony nobel peace prize he received for sending 20,000 un needed troops to the mid east when one of his first promises in his campaign was that he would END the war. do you like the obama care he manged to pass that put doctors out of business and took away a small amount of freedom?
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk can you see obama doing this if anything like this again were to happen? bush gave this speech from his heart by from his voice. obama's speeches have a very monotoned note that you can tell are not sincere. there was no memo of 9/11. it was all a surprise hijack of planes that no one suspected by 19 al queada members. osama bin laden gave a confession speech. bush kept his promise by sending troops to kill insurgents. thats all i have to say
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 Funny, one would think that after erasing your own credibility with easily disproven claims like "Obama didn't attend a Memorial Day ceremony!" and "Obama took more vacations than Bush!" you'd stop making these claims. Yet you keep on making silly statements like "The stimulus package was wasted!" and "Health care reform put doctors out of business!" You're rooting for Republicans and against Democrats like they're football teams, with no regard for actual truth.
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk what truth? I keep asking the simple question in most of my replies asking "what truth?" or "what are you talking about?" the health care reform by obama did hurt many people, but obama even tried to force states to use his health care even though they have the right to refuse. what about arizona? he was suing his own state even though they have every right to search for illegal immigrants in THEIR state. obama puts his nose into everything like every other democrat does.
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 You don't know what truth means? It means an accurate depiction of reality -- you know as opposed to saying Obama didn't attend a ceremony when it can easily be verified that he did, or saying HCR put doctors out of business.
And give me a break with the "Democrats put their nose into everything" nonsense. The Bush administration interfered far more in state politics than any Democrat! You just don't call it overreaching in that case because you're blindly partisan.
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk dont give me that bs. obama stuck his nose into everything that had to do the arizone immigration law, not to mention the countless times bill clinton interfered with the mid term elections.
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 I find it amazing you are even still showing your face in this thread after showing unequivocally that you simply don't know truth from fiction. Bush trampled on states rights more than any president in recent history, but you say Obama "stuck his nose into everything" just because he voiced his opinion on a piece of state legislation? I'm sorry, but that's beyond absurd. It's okay to not know anything about politics and government, samuriguy -- just don't pretend like you do!
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk its not his right to stick his nose into state legislation. you just made it even more obvious how you said it. give a few examples of when bush "trampled on state rights" because you are literally only saying it happened because you love to think how you are so right but giving no examples so how could I know for sure without you only saying that it is so? the president does not have the right to interfere with state legislation. thats what the whole branch is for
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 You are really showing your lack of knowledge here. The Bush administration was actually famous for intervening in state issues: Same-sex marriage in MA, medical marijuana in CA, euthenasia in OR, No Child Left Behind, Terry Shiavo, California's Zero Emissions Vehicle Program & Clean Air Acts, etc., etc.. And All you have on Obama is that he is letting the Supreme Court determine if one highly controversial law is Constitutional -- which is exactly what the Supreme Court is for!
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk you missed my point, obama is stubbornly interfering with same sex marriage in multiple states. obama was also attempting to sue arizona himself for trying to pass a law in which protects their economy from illegal immigrants
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 Hahaha I didn't miss your point. You just change your point every time I prove you wrong. You claimed Obama didn't give a Memorial Day speech, so I sent you the link, and then you said "well, he wasn't sincere." You claimed Bush didn't interfere with state issues, so I listed several, and then you pretended that wasn't the point. See the pattern here? Now you're saying Obama is interfering with same-sex marriage in multiple states. Care to explain that ridiculous claim? LMAO!
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk you only fail to look around you, to miss how obama interferes with multiple states and gay marriage how he attempts to prevent it, how he interferes with arizona and tries to dismantle their constitutional rights, how obama did NOT attend the arlington cemetery for memorial day, how he passed his HCR which takes away freedom to choose your own healthcare and put doctors out of business, how bush is here giving a speech to comfort american people after attacks What was so wrong?
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 Obama didn't attend the Arlington ceremony, but he did attend a ceremony -- just like both Bushes and Reagan attended ceremonies in other cities instead of the Arlington ceremony during their presidencies. So if your point is that the president should attend that specific ceremony instead of another, then you have to indict every president in recent history except for Bill Clinton! Hahaha! See how your own easily disproven lies com back to bite you?
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 I also find it hilarious that you think "look around you" is some kind of convincing argument for your silly claims. Name one specific way Obama has interfered with gay marriage -- you can't because you just made it up. Name one doctor who lost his or her job because of health care reform -- you can't because you just made it up. Show me one passage of the HCR bill that says you can't choose your own health care -- you can't because you just made it up. See the pattern? LMAO!
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk Actually there has been a loss of employment from healthcare reform, especially in our region. No one wants it or needs it. Obama isnt DOING anything, he'll be gone after this term.

Neither timing nor logic is on your side, and insults don’t help your case. You played yourself.
friendofthefunk 8 months ago
@friendofthefunk Ok but this had nothing to do with what Obama did. This war was set in motion before Obama came into office, just like the events that led to the 9/11 attacks came to fruition during a time when Bush WASNT in office. Look up the history of big manhunts, it takes time. It took 13 years to find the unibomber for example and there are plenty more I wont list them ill let you look them up. It took time to track down and the military did it.
DanD3815 8 months ago
@friendofthefunk It ad nothing to do with a president failing. These manhunt investigations take time. You can't fathom just how difficult it is to track down this man in such a remote area and being completely hidden constantly. Its no turkey shoot, even for the US military. So no, Bush didn't fail and Obama didnt do anything different then whats been going on this whole war. It just took time for the intellegence to materialize. So I didnt "play myself" idk what ur talking about..neither do u.

@friendofthefunk what is so negligent about standing on the rubble and giving a very important speech? the only promises he made were "the people who knocked these buildings down will soon hear all of us" indicating that he would attack the terrorists that flew the planes into the buildings which he has done, but is being ruined by Obama's so called "peace plan" by sending 20,000 MORE un needed troops to afghanistand
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 I didn't say standing on the rubble was negligent. I said Bush's negligence (i.e. completely ignoring terrorism and even famously ignoring a memo specifically predicting terrorists flying planes into tall buildings) helped cause the rubble.
friendofthefunk 1 year ago
@friendofthefunk what memo where is the proof of some memo you speak of?
samuriguy909 1 year ago
@samuriguy909 There were several memos, starting with the Jan 25 memo saying a meeting on Al Qaeda was "urgently needed" (a meeting that never happened). And how could you forget the famous memo entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack in U.S."? Bush did nothing before 9/11 and you're impressed that he shouted empty promises into a bullhorn after it was too late.

CommodoreCronauer 2 years ago
@CommodoreCronauer you know.. look at what's happening in Yemen. After the xmas failed terrorist attack Obama 'ordered airstrikes' to be carried out inside Yemen. By the way Fort Hood and the Xmas plane very well be CIA missions in order to 'go after al qaida inside of Yemen'. But Should the xmas attack or the fort hood attack have been carried out during Bush his precidency.. He would have totally flattened anything that had to do with Al qaida in Yemen. Smoke them out of their holes!!
WitnessWorldWarIII 2 years ago
@CommodoreCronauer "Bush was a great man" You speak in the past tense as though he died. If that's the case, then I agree with you. The only thing Bush was "great" at was making the world laugh at America. How can anyone with half a brain claim that Bush laid the groundwork for the capture of OBL?? Bush pulled out of Afghanistan (where OBL was reportedly hiding at the time) and started invading Iraq for oil. Wow, some hero and strategist .
southport97 8 months ago
@southport97
CommodoreCronauer 8 months ago

WitnessWorldWarIII 2 years ago
@Albyiscool And remember this.. because it will get much worse. Within the Obama presidency period.. the US will become a third world country. McCain was the US it's last hope.. but too bad McCain chose for Palin as his side kick.. that ruined his chances. The most popular governor in Alaska doesn't automatically mean being the most popular side kick in the rest of the US.
WitnessWorldWarIII 2 years ago
A third world country? ahahah ur even more ignorant than I first perceived. Obama isnt the root of all evil you dumb conservative prick. He never had a chance in the first place. McCain's old way of thinking wouldve put us in a worse place than we are at this moment. We had a failure as a president and now we have to dig our way out of it. Let the president do his job, then judge him.

@LoganWGum remember my words.. you can't say that you haven't been warned. And wow.. dig out..? I would rather say.. Obama is digging in deeper and deeper. You need McCain in times of war..

I am saddened by what a bunch of weak ass punks we have in this country. Most of you douchebags didn't bother to step up to defend your country then, and you are content to indulge in bashing it and our president now as if it were cool to do so.

Hey froggy, you are a weak cunt muscle at best. Pick up a fuckin book every once in a while, preferably a fuckin history book.
Ps. Hope you die in a car accident.

you know what, you are right...froggy is the only sane person on fucking youtube if not in all of america

The evidence for 9/11 being an inside job is common fucking sense. you believe 19 muslims led by a caveman infiltrated the us. lol sheep

dude harper, calm down, get laid and get a life and stop being closed minded, wtf does a president or administration gain by bombing his own country, NO president wants to go to war.
you guys just use 9/11 as an excuse to hate bush, idc what bullshit statistic you read up and tell me, even if it was obama i wouldn't never believe our own government would attack us. so do us all a favor and shut your mouth and stop talking like you're a wigger.
straightedgemike570 3 years ago 2
you should read the book 1984
then if you still feel the same you can say that NO president wants to go to war

ToritoNL 3 years ago
um, we gave weapons to the mujahadeem not the talBAn, and bush cannot be publicly emotional, he is our leader not our GF to cry with

The truth is sadly 50% of Americans would prefer to pretend there are not hundreds of millions of Muslims who want destroy the United States.
But that's nothing new.
Many Americans in 1776 were royalists.
Many Americans fought to protect slavery.
Many Americans did not want to fight in the Great War.
Many Americans did not want to fight Hitler or Tojo or Mussolini.
Many Americans did not want to fight Communism.
No surpise many Americans do not want to fight Islamofascism either.

There are things more important than politics and you need to grow up and realize that.
munnbreslin 3 years ago 5
