  • OMFG you were so good, it hurts :P

  • the piano sounds like a lute instrument OmO <3 makes the song so believable, plus ur precise strikes <3

  • great ¡¡ good job¡¡¡

  • people say that its awsome but i can easily play that fast and i suck

  • Maybe it's not perfect, but it's wonderfull, very good job. congratulations.

  • very good bit you play the f not wrong

  • omfg forget the out of tune comments it sounds great like that. nice job btw

  • very nice. U played well. i like this music.

i am saji guitarist. u watch my videos.

    romance by saji m

    thanks.

  • Change the piano!

  • You play well, but Albeniz' Asturias on a Honky Tonk piano sounds very strange.

  • hell man, I couldnt get past the first 4 measures for this on piano. its rough at parts, but im not sure theres much you can do about it.

  • ineffable! congrats!

  • My advice is: Perfect!! ^^

  • how can i download the music written???

  • Do you have the score of this song??

    PLEASE!!!\\

If someone could send me the score of Asturias at piano, just tell me and i will give u my mail:)

    THanks and Congratulations!!!

  • this really isnt that hard of a sooong... im not kidding haha im leqrning it right now. if u practicee slow, it eventually becomes easssy.

  • thats how everything is....

  • Good job! But my Friend is 15 and plays it also without mistakes... He's a great talent... His teacher is 97 and plays much faster then him! O.o I agree it's really freakin' to view people play Asturias. Actually I'm learning it on the guitar... But with my "skills" this would be eternal....

  • omg -said u were single right, will u marry me? x) truely impressive; i love asturias and it was unbearable for me to see it played in a sloppy way by ppl who lack talent.. and i loved this one. i was obsessed wth the guitar version already; now i've decided to learn the piano version too :D thanx for.. umm.. inspiring me (:

  • flattering lol...thanks for the compliment

  • @Vardan2008 Is this by ear or sheets?

And great cover of the song, by the way.

  • wow this likes like a nightmare for the piano... its hard enough on guitar... im way impressed this is the first time i have seen asturias played well on the piano! and yes i know it was written for the piano but anyways, way awesome mate! im still workin out the guitar version...

  • this is great:)

  • THANK u!!!

  • Would i be out of place to say i bet hsi girlfriend/partner/wife is a very happy person?

  • you would not but at the moment i'm single

  • jeez man u r freaking good. well come

  • I am a great fan of Albeniz, and of Granados, Hafta, and deFalla. Alas, just an appreciative listener. Why, for heaven's sake, did you disable Ratings? You produced, very probably, a five star video.

  • Good job! At the start, keep your right hand fingers out and not curled in and use the arm and not only the fingers and it will feel more secure on any piano. Also, when doing the leaps keep your wrist from flopping around which is why it is not 100% accurate. Hope it helps!

  • put up a lesson!!!!!!! awesome

  • 1 ov the best i´ve ever seen on piano, very weldone. i wish i could play too, i am really impressed.. keep going...

  • very very very good !

    :)

  • Bien tocado, pero hay que pulir los staccatos y no usar el pedal cuando das el salto de manos juntas a separadas. Sigue asi.

  • gracias, y el proximo tiempo voy a usar el pedal un poco menos...pero gracias para tu opinión

  • I have Advice!!! Make more cool videos!!! You rock...in classical version..hehehe

  • Buena interpretación de esta maravillosa pieza de Isaac Albéniz.

  • I gotta say. Better than Chris Nahm.

  • 1) Your piano is a semitone flat

    2) The crazy chords are supposed to be played at the time (i do have the music!)

    3) The crazy chords definitely are different notes to what you are playing

    4) Otherwise, the tone and feel of this piece are really good when you play it... the chords might be wrong but at least it flows, which is more that i can say for some "good" performances!

  • ok i'm uploading a video soon where i explain about the chords...be patient...thanks for the compliment!

  • Congratulation you play very good and, how many time you took to know play this score ?

  • You very Good. :)

  • Very good! Unless it's just the light but I have to agree and say it doesn't look like you are playing 4 note chords... About the playing seperately thing my version says seperate but also at the top of mine it says 'edited by C.B.Roepper', so the original score could have been together...

Either way doesn't matter too much? Was still a good interpretation... It's things like this that make me not want to upload videos of me playing.

  • Great playing.

    you should enable the Rating.

    very impressive.

  • Even though I am a guitar player and I can play this song on guitar I dont know anything about piano but I think this sounds pretty good and I agree that it does sound out of tune

  • yes..as i said it is out of tune but we are tuning and selling it!...so i will have an improved version some time in january! Thnx 4 commenting.

  • Just a couple of things to mention:first is, maybe you could tune your piano,it's straying badly(pitch-wise)Also, matarocieros is right- all of the chords are wrong. They're also full 4-key chords.Note that if you take those two keys off you may cost the music a huge chunk of sound depth. And about playing the left hand first, why not go for the original? It empowers the chords to play them together, and that's the only challenge to this piece so why just miss it?Other than that, well played :D

  • ok 1stly...dis is not da best video ive posted and im making an improved version soon...im getting a new piano so no point tuning this 1 at the moment...the chords are right..sounds wrong from da sound of the piano...and finally..if u look at the sheet music carefully u will see that the tempo does not change. U cant stop the tempo just for the chords..it is all the same tempo so left hand goes first...maybe u r reading wrong sheet music..remind me 2 send u the right one! thnx 4 commenting!! :D

  • no honey, when playing the chords-left and right should be together......

    pay attention to that....

    anyway,like your tone

  • dont comment if you're an idiot! I said check the notes becuuz i know wat i am on about! even my sister, who is a piano teacher, was told 2 play it like this when performing in a concert! she was specifically told not to play the two chords 2gether becuz it was not stated like that on the notes! LOOK AT THE NOTES!! even if u dunno how 2 count the different notes it is common sense as u can see how the left hand comes up first and then the right hand follows it!

  • and why you think i didn't check the notes?!

nobody wants to insult your sister, anyway,in my scores chords are together, checked so many times

  • i didnt mean any1 was insulting my sister....im just stating the obvious!...and i dunno wat notes u hav but they r different on mine

  • and to support my argument of the order of the hands played, I am advising you to watch "Chris Nahm - Asturias (Leyenda) by Isaac Albeniz", which should be the first video in the "Related Videos" section at the right. You can clearly see that, although playing quickly, he is able to keep the tempo by playing the left hand first and then the right hand. :)

  • Original edition shows both hands at the same time, and C.B.Roepper edition shows the way you're playing it, I think both can be considered good versions. Oh, btw, chords are not complete or right most of the time, it's clearly seen on the video..probably you mean to play all the notes but the speed you're playing them at makes you not to actually play all them.Anyway, good work

  • parfait continue ainsi lol

  • you should practice the chords in the fast part, as most of them are wrong, even in the higher voice. I also suggest you to revise some notes in the slow part. F.e., At the beggining of this part, there is a flat trill above g-flat. This suppouses g-flat/g/g-flat.

  • respect

  • wow i just looked at the music again.. i didnt realize that 1:50 was all FF i learned on guitar so ive always played it very quiet

  • i might be wrong, but i think some parts are out of the tempo.

  • soz but i dnt go with the tempo...its crap...jus go with freelance

  • on the part at 43 seconds how can i get that faster? (moving my fingers into position)

  • basically do not play it with both hands at the same time, it messes up the tempo. Ive noticed some people are playing it like that and its wrong. Just play the left hand first (5th and 1st finger on the base D's) and u have a brief moment to get ur right hand into position (1st finger on D, 2nd on F#, 3rd on A and 5th on top D).

  • thank you very much! yeah the book shows fingering.. but ive never tried playing left first..

  • lol yeah me too can I have a music sheet for this ???

  • as i sed....jus send me ur email!

  • got the music sheet for this?

  • yeah sure just give me ur email

  • hey can i have the music sheet too haha

  • ok...send me ur email

  • gracie gracie!
