  • very beutiful.

  • Some of the tribes, don't know about this one, had to take on anglicized names at the turn of the century. I know because the person at the cultural center in Riverside, CA was trying to trace his family. Not all were still living on the reservation, he was one of them. I had a background in geneology. The government forced them to change their native names.

  • Kevin Locke was at the high school I go to when someone made this vid. AMAZING!!!!!! really interesting!

  • I find it odd watching this very Native American dance knowing that his name is Kevin.

Also - I saw a ring dancer in Utah seven or so years ago who spun so fast that he came out as simply a colorful blur in everyone pictures - but he only used 5 rings, not 28.

    This is impressive stuff.

  • song is too craazy fast- help a native out, jeeeeeez,eh!

  • you know what's cool?

i lived in wrangell, alaska, and i saw him performing there for the first time in my life.

then i moved to california, 2 years later, and i saw him AGAIN.

i never got the chance to say hi to him though. ]: this guy's still pretty coo'.

  • really amazing

  • this guy is coming to troy music hall upstate new york on 4/19/08 im looking forward to this energy !!

  • I had the chance to see Kevin Locke in person. The video quality sucked...you have to be there to appreciate this dance. Kevin Locke is an amazing man, and keeps his heritage alive!

  • then be quiet hater this is my teachers dad and u need 2 show some respect and if u have non dont comment(hater)

  • This is true awe inspiring- but the whole show is even better... If you get the chance see it!

  • Truly amazing!

  • The word YOGA is derived from the Sanskrit root "yuj", i "to yoke" [to the spirit] meaning "union of the Individual Soul (Atman) with the Universal Soul (Brahman). Yoga embraces a wide range of disciplines whose ultimate goal is the joining of body, mind and spirit, a conscious unification into Oneness. Kevin brings us closer to the Oneness.

  • Have seen him dance but not at PowWow. Hope I can in future. Great to watch and great energy.

  • Awesome video, even (awesomer?) dancer lol...thanks for posting I really enjoyed it.

  • What makes this amazing is the fact he has gray hair. This would be much harder for him at his age.He is great!!I would hang myself with those.

  • He is MASTER - yes! I watched him doing it, that was amazing!

  • A master human being! The hoop of life has been restored!
