  • I think when he said Sex he kind of shocked her....Great interview. (classic)

  • the way he says girl is soo funny

  • Such propriety is unheard of in sports today. A true hero to be modeled...

  • Been saying it for years....if they ever did some sort of stupid Cowboys movie about the seventies or something like that then Will Ferrell has to be Roger Staubach. For God's sake, the man looks and sounds just like him.

  • lol only in the 70s

  • Mid 1970's...Cowboys and Steelers baby, man i wish i could have been around to experience that great rivalry.

  • It was truly a great rivalry - perhaps the best ever - and some fantastic games. I really miss that era.

  • @stell29 The Oakland Raiders and Steelers had the most hated rivalry of all time. The schedule maker cheated us. I would have loved to see a game between Stabler's Raiders and Staubach's Cowboys. But I agree stell29 Steelers and the Boys had some great games including 2 superbowl games.

  • That reporter's hot...

  • Phylis george is reporter yeah she is

  • Former Miss America and is from Denton, TX. Just north of Dallas.

  • hell ye.

  • CAPTIN AMERICA

  • Roger looks really good in this interview the guy is a woman's dream nice, kind, respectful, loves his family veteran midshipman, heisman trophy winner ,super bowl champion.

  • He's my all-time favorite athlete. He such a great human being. I love Roger.

  • You know I saw a picture of him at the Texas GOP convention and he still looks great!

  • Well, we know how he spells relief!:)

  • lol go roger

  • hahahahahahahahahahaha....I will leave you to marinate in the stupidity of your own words. Joe Namath is an excellent drunk.

  • Roger is my all-time favorite player. He was such a great guy...

I used to have a Roger Staubach jersey (#12) and wore all the time when I was a kid...I miss that shirt...

He was a great role model too. I wished there were more athletes like him now.

  • Dude, sex is sex. Whether marriage makes it feel better is a state of mind. Why do you think some people cheat on their spouses? As far as I'm concerned, both were awesome quarterbacks, even if they are like night and day.

  • a great guy & class act whether he won or lost, unlike some of these jerk pro athletes today; we need more guys like Roger Staubach, Walter Payton, David Robinson, Lynn Swann, Emmitt Smith; great athletes, great role models . .

  • This really made a lot of news at the time it came out. But Roger really was a straight arrow. He once pulled out a pic of his wife and kids when a couple teammates introduced him to a couple girls from "Hee-Haw" back at the team hotel.

  • What a "Christian" thing to say...

  • So?! What's wrong with being a Christian?! I am!!!

  • I remember this interview vividly from when I was a kid. Good stuff. What's missing, though, is a video tribute to Roger on the field. There was nobody better in the last two minutes of a game with his team behind.

  • " but its still fun" Roger dodger, a great QB. he is at home gettin busy, and Broadway Joe is tryin to kiss Suzy Kolber. lol

  • priceless. We need more Roger Staubachs in the league.

  • @stonegator Yes we do.

  • Fuck the Cowboys!!

  • this was funny

  • Nice. lol
