my wifes 5800 downloads the update to the pc but don't install to phone, it says to connect usb directly to pc not a hub, the usb is plugged straight to pc, my n97 has been updated through it four times? "Nokia, connecting people" WHATEVER! should be " Nokia, pissing people off!"

i have nokia n96 and i have never update it and when i try so a messege pops " no updates available" btw i live in israel maybe the phone not suported in my country but any way i need ur help to know what i can do if there is something to do.. thanks.

I have a problem with my 5800 Xpress phone.

I do it and it says there are no available updates even i am on the oldest version of the firmware.

@Astrixone Did you try updating with pc/ovi suite on your pc? That is much more faster and safer way.

Hi there.. I have N79 and I hard reset by mistake and did not back up. I lost all apps that come preinstalled like IndiSMS, N-Gage games and many other stuff. Is there any way I can get them back ? I have firmware 31.002

If there is no way out please list all the apps, games, widgets that come with N79 in India so that I can search and download them manually

@martoss1000 you could use NSS to change the product code of your phone to a different country or get rid of operator so phone is unbranded, but voids warranty if you have any apparently! worked on my n70 and a few others!

mulla on nokia 5800 aina kuin tarkistan jos on päivityksiä se sano aina päivityksiä ei käytävissä vaikka on päivityksiä. niin sitten se toimi nokia updaterin avulla muta nytt mulla on windows 7 ja se ei toimi

asenna xp. sen saa netistä laittomasti ja 30 päivää riittää kyllä päivittämiseen. windows 7 on vasta beta versio eikä siinä toimi melkein mitään. Mee xp/vista koneelle ja asenna software updater ja pc suite. sitte saat sen päivitettyy. jos et haluu poistaa windows 7 betaa nii mee jonkun muun koneelle.

en ite saanu toimii, käytin konetta. Tarvitsin vaa 45 min koneella ja sitte känny toimi täydellisesti.

lataa xp:n demo tai jotai vastaavaa nii sitt sull on 30 päivää aikaa käyttää sitä. lataa nokia software updater ja pc suite. asenna ja update. kestää jonkin aikaa ja sitten on valmis. osta vaikka uusi kovalevy ja asenna siihen xp. mull on 2 kovalevyy... toisessa vista ja toisessa xp.
