Yes, Demi is someone to look up to, but just because someone hasn't been through what she has, doesn't make them any less of a role model. Everyone makes mistakes. And just because they aren't a huge dark thing like Demi went through, it doesn't make them perfect or their lives perfect. Everyone goes through things, but just because someone is lucky enough not to go through something so dark, doesn't mean they are less of a role model.

Okay, so she's not THE BEST singer, but it's not terrible enough for me to change songs. She's okay, better than people are making it sounds. I was more appalled by her outfit (yes, I know she's growing up, but really?) than her singing. (NOT BEIN A HATER.)

Yes, Demi is no doubt the better singer, but they have SEPARATE careers. They're not joined at the hip! Why are you people so set on comparing them all the time? They're two different people. Yes, they may be best friends but they're not in competition so stop acting like they are. Besides, it's not like Selena CAN'T sing, she's just not at a standard as high as Demi.

And for the record there is barely any major artists at Demi's level, her voice is even at a better skill level then someone like gaga. Yes, Demi is someone to look up to, but just because someone hasn't been through what she has, doesn't make them any less of a role model. Everyone makes mistakes. And just because they aren't a huge dark thing like Demi went through, it doesn't make them perfect or their lives perfect. Everyone goes through things, but just because someone is lucky enough not to go through something so dark, doesn't mean they are less of a role model.

But I do agree.
Selena was famous before Justin, but only caught attention of those jealous Bieber-fans when she started actually dating him, y'know? So it does make sense that they say that--no matter what the truth is.
And about the fake, no one really knows what celeb is real or not. For all we know they all could be fake or real.
Agreed once more; both are great rolemodels.

They're different, meaning they are differently. Individuelles. And both great role models in their own way. I'm sure each of them has helped lots of people in their own way...

I think that she can sing.. It's just that these type of songs aren't her strong point...live. I've heard her singing acoustic and slower songs live, and that's the type of thing she needs to sing. Why do people keep saying Justin Bieber made her famous. She was famous before him. I think she seems sweet. I hate how people say that someone is 'fake' just because they have class.
