@Doc187XL no you need, to have a ethernet cable connected to your ps3, then have your ps3 search for your psp

You need it to be a wired connection on your PS3.

To better explain what zap and Ang were referring to, the PSP requires exlusive use of the PS3's wireless functionality for its gaming bandwidth. This requirement also means that you must connect your PS3 to your home network via ethernet cable ;)

Its way better man. I got this back with Japan first got it and I have been doing this for a year  now before we got it here in the usa and its freaking awsome dude. It feels just like you are playing on your cable line and there no lag for you. But if soneone has lag its wont effect you it will only effect that other player that has the issue.
