Disney had a small commercial using this footage and a group of guys sang "whose afraid of the big bad wolf"

it's not Disney, it's a "Schongerfilm", a german production :)

And this were made for a puppet theatre, the "Augsburger Puppenkiste" :)

This was also to see on TV.

And the year was 1966.

@LLWChampion Nope, this was by Ub Iwerks's animation company. The wolf in it does look a lot like the Disney version, though!

UB is Ub Iwerks, the animator for Disney's early work.

This was UB Iwerks, but not Disney. UB left Disney around 1930 because of a contract dispute. This was produced by Celebrity Pictures, as you can see at 0:19.
