@bp1191 Absolutely correct. Steel Venom is credited as the first "twisting" impulse. The narration should have specified that, but I believe it was cut down for timing purposes.
I am heartbroken! to see all of these rides go to different places, especially the double loop being sold for scrap. That was my first roller coaster ride and i will never forget Geauga Lake! </3
The 16th time I went to Dorney Park which was October 26, 2008, when Steel Venom got moved to Dorney Park (and was renamed Voodoo), Steel Venom if the only roller coaster from Geauga Lake that I've been on.
Cute video. Need to work on the narration although. Steady tone, and balanced pace.
As for Superman/Steel Venom that was not the first impulse Intamin, it was however the first in the US. But Linear Gale in Japan was the first.
Sadly Geauga Lake had this coming for a long time, wrong directions, and wrong crowds. Sucks was a really cute park when the ghetto elements where not there, but all in all Six Flags I still blame for the beginning of the end.
Great video, just one innacuracy the first Impulse was Linear Gale in Japan.

Strictly speaking I have no interest in this park other then pieces of it that could end up in my park.
That said this is a very good video that I thoroughly enjoyed watching.

Some facts are wrong at the beginning, but nevertheless this was funny. And sad. Good video to bring back happy memories.

It's nice that you find amusing all the pain that we all have to endure by letting our best theme park go away.
Cheers to you assholes!!

Who's finding amusement at the park closing? If you think we're poking fun at it, you're missing the point here.

@ThemeParkSushi
Sorry about that comment.
I just found this really hard to watch and in the end to see where all our coasters went to.
I think I meant to leave that comment on another video I saw.
RIP GL !!

"The Funeral," off the soundtrack to Firefly. We've gotten a ton of mileage off that soundtrack...

well in the video they said that superman/steel venom was the first impulse of it's kind. meaning the twisting front sprike, which linear gale lacks.
I don't mean to create an argument, but why does everyone blame six flags for the direction of the park? i dont understand that
