  • nice playin yeeeeeeeeerrrr mate planning on buying one of thseee

  • @Anggiclassicerz I recently had a Bone Nut & Bone Saddle put on this guitar and it sound NICE. I love this Guitar.

  • Abalone inlay.....not harringbone

  • @kd8ux lol i was thinking about that. For some reason i thought they were both one in the same. Shows how much i know...lol thanks

  • @rayka Harringbone is a pattern....very nice pattern......CJ10x is one of the prettiest guitars I've seen.

  • @kd8ux Yeah it is. I had a Cort MR710 but it wasn't giving me that big sound i was chasing. The Cort CJ10X gives me that. All that great inlay was a plus.

  • @rayka Exactly, you're the first I've talked to that understands .Something about this guitar series that is just at my frequency. I have a SJ-10x also, all maple and spruce, really beautiful. Does the preamp cover fallinto the guitar like mine does ?

  • @kd8ux yeah cover falls into the guitar. Do they still make a Sj series? Cort's website doesn't have the SJ series that i can remember.

  • @rayka Not any longer do they make the SJ.It was the precursor to the CJ series. The SJ turned into the CJ.

  • @kd8ux Got it. =)

  • Great playing man! I have a Cort CJ10x myself- I picked it out because it not only sounds good, but also plays great! Any tips on using the on-board electronics? There's a trim nob beneath the console, but I haven't fiddled with it much yet... All the best, thanks for the great and informative review!

  • @dannylundmark Thanks. Not to many Videos on this Guitar. not much info on it either. a few people were asking on guitar review channels asking about this one. the trim knob i think helps with the feedback with Frequencies. I played around with it and didn't hear much difference. when i play live i have never got any feedback. also never needed much EQ on the amp or PA side. bit fat warm sound very clear. i would love to hear yours sound. Thanks keep in touch.

  • Great playing! And very cool, eccentric character! I have a Cort CJ10X myself, and I picked it out because it not only played great but also sounded good too! Very nice to see you enjoying yours... I am, however, planning on upgrading to a Martin when I have the money, using the Cort as a backup and for working with kids.... Cheers, all the best!

  • what size of strings do you use? thnx

  • @raichy light gauge (53-12) D'Addario EXP Coated strings. now i have Medium Gauge strings (56-13) D'Addario strings because the action was lowered when i had the Guitar setup done recently. Thanks for commenting.

  • @raichy mediums are e-56 a-45 d-35 g-26 b-17 e13. mediums will give you a bolder fatter sound but will be harder on the finger. i have Guitars i use for practice that use light gauge. Thanks

  • @rayka thanks for your awesome reply man your great .), I am going to buy this guitar tomorrow )

  • @raichy This guitar comes with Light Guage strings 53-12. it is Engelmann Spruce and Side & Back is Rosewood. It has a Big sound. The Saddle and Nut is set up for Light gauge. If you want a bigger sound have a pro Guitar set up lower the action and have medium gauge String and you will get a slightly bigger sound. Pickup is Fishmann premium. Has a huge sound thru PA. also it is a 16 1/4 size measured by the lower base I seen them used on Craigslist for 550. I love this guitar.

  • You are window-cleaner who plays well :-)

  • @KawamurAsun Thanks a million. =)

  • Great Guitar and playing....Mel

  • @amazongift Thanks Always like watching your Playing to0.

  • WOAH !!! Major improvement in guitar sound. I like this instrument very much. Money well spent PLUS you got it at a major discount *L* AND ANOTHER THING ... D'Addario strings are the only strings I'd put on me own dear mother's guitar. .. bless her heart.

  • @DAToDATonian this was on back order for 3 months. It came in 2 days ago. It sounds as good as my Taylor 410ce that was 2x as much. Great sound for that price. Ideally paid 755 bucks for it. Thanks

  • @rayka All kidding aside, It is a GREAT sounding guitar. I forgot to mention how much I liked that piece you were playing as an intro to your video too. That inlaid herringbone really IS beautiful ... but do the guys at Cort have to eat all that herring just to get down to the bones ?¿?????? oooooooooh LOVE that little guitar run at the end of your video. I just noticed that !!!

  • @DAToDATonian Thanks. The guitar is made by a Canadian company but they are manufactured in Korea so i guess they have to eat all that Herring..lol. Your the only one that noticed that ending riff. good ear.
