I am LDS and I do have a personal relationship with Christ. Paul said "...no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost." (1 Cor 12:3)

I remember I was reading the scriptures with real intent, (I really wanted to know) and asking in my heart if Christ really did die for me, and at that moment I was filled with the Spirit. I could feel Christ's love for me. It really was indescribable.

First of all Sticky, to say you have no doubt that I would deny Christ is wrong. You do not know me or what I would do in any given situation. Many people knew Jesus and did not deny Him. The New Scriptures were not 'NEW' in the truth about God. Paul had the Old Testament. Contained within the Old Testament are tons of prophecies regarding Jesus.
