OMG... just googled & found that this is one of the most dangerous airports in the world... this video is not very inviting to spend holidays in this island...

@bluegas This airport was only one accident in 1977 when the runway has only 1600 meters. Now it has 2781 meters and it's capable of receive any civil airplane. So you may go safely to Madeira.
