LOL Weiner, what a PERVERTED POS he really was all along. Makes you wonder if he didn't start this to try and take the coming heat off himself.
Seriously goldline maybe does some pressure selling but it's no diff than car salesman or time share goons. If you don't have the guts to say no then its your own fault, period.
Funny how NOTHING ever became of ANY of these investigations.
Gold profits are made on thin margins. reputable gold dealers don't need to advertise heavily. Goldlines expensive advertising on prime time Fox should be a tip-off that they are raking in excessive profits from the selling of gold. What gets me is how someone like Beck who is already filthy rich from his contract feels the need to have to screw people to squeeze out that much more. How much is enough?
LoL. A couple years ago, I called Goldline wanting to buy bullion and all they I got was a high pressure sales pitch to buy numismatic bullshit collectables. I'm just not stupid enough to buy that crap.
Teabaggers, keep sucking in Beck's garbage. All he is doing is selling you snake oil and lies. I'm sure you are sucked in by his fake tears too. This is a man that was a drunk and doper that dropped out of school because he thought he could use his propaganda to make money. Just like that idiot Palin. No talent. No knowledge of what you are talking about, just repeat talking points, smile or cry, whichever works for you. The entire Republican party and the people that run them at FOX are scams,
@whatnowgop Wow, The Associated Press,Reuters,Gallup Daily,Rasmussen, and McClatchy among others must be wrong. Does "Is the American dream gone, Mr President" ring a bell? Every pinko's favorite PMSNBC talk show host Ed Shultz sold a whopping 80 books in its first week out.
@canofsand Well, 26 State Attorney General's investigations of Goldline could color my opinion there somewhat ,yes... but feel free to get buttfucked by them as often as like you like canofsand..just shut your eyes and dream of Glenn....TWIT !
@bellcord Investigations conducted by political stooges... that regardless found nothing wrong. So... what you're saying is, your opinion is colored by political hacks, and you are incapable of dealing with people who disagree with you politically without acting like a vulgar jerk. Yes, we already knew that. Anything new you wanted to add? When you've grown up enough to at least consider things from BOTH sides, there are lots of stories about Weiner, Goldline, etc. at weinerfacts-dot-com.
@canofsand (Correction: I should say "citation needed" in regards to the specific investigations you refer to. I do know of some purely political ones that found nothing as well as one that was urged by political nonsense but concluded decently, finding Goldline doing nothing illegal or unethical.)

@bellcord CITATION NEEDED. I'll give you a citation for what I'm talking about - THE ORIGINAL COMPLAINT THAT STARTED THIS NONSENSE, WHICH WAS INVESTIGATED AND GOLDLINE WAS FOUND TO BE FAIR AND HONEST: (YouTube censoring it - will try to post in reply). And "the truth" isn't vulgar, not in the sense I'm talking, and you know it. Or were you just looking for some petty excuse to justify acting like a jerk on the Internet?
@canofsand YouTube is really doing a number to this URL. To get the right place, remove all spaces, change -dot- to a period, and make sure your copy+paste didn't insert another character in there. YouTube's inserting an invisible extra character when I did the copy+paste so it takes you to a 404 page. @canofsand What started this was Goldline selling grossly overpriced gold coins to the uninformed...gold in bullion form can be compared with posted prices...gold in common French coins flogged by Goldline salesmen is sold for 4 and 5 times gold prices making any appreciation near impossible...and since I've promised to be nicer to dipshit's I'll spare the usual snark...

@canofsand You had your nose rubbed in their sleaze by law enforcement, ABC News and me and any other person with eyes and ears....if your still in denial you are on their payroll or in hock with their schock..
@bellcord Citations still needed; I'm not taking the word of partisan hacks. I've seen the ABC News hit piece and the "law enforcement actions," and y'know what it all amounts to? "A hill o' beans," as they used to say. NO legal action is being taken against Goldline because they were found to be within the law AND the consumer advocacy and business associations like BBB and Rip-off Report have found Goldline's practives to be FAIR and their service GREAT. Facts: I've got 'em. You don't.
@canofsand For Gawd's sake can, they're holding Congressional hearings this week with a parade of folks relating how they were ripped-off by Goldswine..they are passing additional laws to protect people, it's been a major scandal for years now ...and you're still in denial?...Obviously you wouldn't know a fact if one bit you in the ass in a blind alley..Sheesh, whatta a chump..
@bellcord Citation not just needed, it's long overdue. Sorry, but not all of us are so braindead as to consider the "arguments" offered by a childish, namecalling Internet troll as "good enough." ("Goldswine?" I know 12-year-olds more mature than you, it seems.)
@bellcord Rip-off Reports and the BBB disagree. You are a broken record, and lest you accuse me of being the same, a simple "equation" for you: BBB + RoR > opinion pieces by the Left.
@bellcord When the blood alcohol level test comes back saying otherwise, you'd better call those 15 people out as the liars they are and question their motives.
Goldline, rated AAA by the Better Business Bureau. But then of course Weiner hand-waves that away by implying the BBB only rated them that because they were "bribed." A "bribe" known as the standard nominal fee they charge every business that wants to take advantage of some of their not-at-all-secret "extra" services virtually every sizable business signs up for. So who do you believe, the BBB that's been around for decades and has been trusted by millions, or Weiner, a politician?
@seshankvish9 Yes, trust the customers - as a whole, not those hand-picked by small-minded, intellectually dishonest political hacks like the vulgar, childish seshankvish9 here. And as such, go to the BBB, since tracking businesses' relations with customers is one of their primary functions. Seriously, you hacks are pathetic. What's next? "Don't trust Consumer Reports cuz they often give good reviews to products made by companies that sponsor Fox News and talk radio?" Cuz... they do, y'know.
why would one invest 13K when they are laid off? if anything, you need that 13k in a savings account or maybe a checking account to buy stuff like food and toilet paper.
@sidewalkpilot Thanks for showing us just how out of step the supporters of Weiner are with the vast majority of Americans. Kind of torpedoes all your "Goldline and Beck are evil" arguments.
I noticed they did this also when home prices were shooting up and the sales people and banks and others were making money hand over fist. Oh...that's right. They said there was no housing bubble. ROFL This is so stupid.
I would love to see Glenn Beck, Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch frogmarched to jail over this. But there is no justice in America. If there were, they'd already be there.
ROFL What about all those who pushed housing that was 50% over priced. ROFL You support protecting fools? Fools are fools. I am sorry if you were fooled by the housing boom, or stock market bubble, or even gold. A fool is a sucker for anything including shady lieing politicians.
@Buzzz46 I think that those who pushed overpriced housing including those responsible for creating and sustaining the bubble (Alan Greenspan, et. al.) should also be locked up. And thanks, but no I wasn't hurt in the housing boom because having worked in the housing field for 30 years I knew what it was and avoided the trap.
And Barney Frank and Chris Dodd? And Paulson and Bush? And Nancy Pelosi and Obama? They are pushing crap now too which is crap? How about realtors abd brokers? How about all sales people?
I say all this because I've read the Gold litereature they send you in the mail upon request. It's in there that you are paying a premium and will be selling at a discount. Just because someone can't read doesn't make it a crime against the person selling. Stupidity abounds all around.
@Buzzz46 Agreed. There are plenty at whom the finger could be pointed, but time and space limitations won't allow me to name them all. And you are also right when you say that "stupidity abounds all around." Caveat emptor and all that.
It doesn't make it right and it doesn't make it right that this man makes an issue of it ONLY because Glenn Beck talks about Obama's Communist and Socialist friends and backers, no matter what kind of a blabber mouth Beck is. This has nothing to do with gold or protecting people but to silence Beck or try to anyway. I believe Beck is wrong about hyperinflation but that doesn't make him a criminal because he thinks there will be.
Doubling the monetary base would cause massive inflation but not if it is buried in the ground or a vault at the bank or federal reserve. But this politician wants people not to take the other side of the trade or political spectrum and is using his authority to squash political decent.
@Ggeg0000 Yeah, the gold was bought for over $20 a troy ounce, which was the market rate at the time, not the $8 Beck mentioned. These coins are not bullion, are not as useful as bullion, and the markups are much higher, causing exactly what we saw in the video - people getting ripped off.
Wow, what a scam! Reminds me of the health care plan we were tricked into buying, only to find out it's completely worthless. Someone should investigate! PS when the dollar collapses, even overpriced gold coins will be better than worthless paper money.
@fredricktoo Yeah, b/c Pelosi is only worth a measly $50 million with her california vineyard and her husbands other assets. You're dumbass is running on stereotypes from the 70's and 80's. Catch up with the rest of us, please, or go back to school. Do something though.
@cano21 I think you missed the point cano21. I thought it would be obvious. Republicans fork over that kind of money on these things exactly like they spout cliches. Pelosi is worth gazillions exactly because she and her hubbie don't fall for swindles ala Beck. I shall stay far from whatever you define as "school".
@fredricktoo dude use your head... republicans is not the answer, the answer anybody that knows how to save their money... its called being thrifty..!!!. try it
@fredricktoo Last time I checked Soros and Buffet were a Leftist Demmy types, I believe they each control tons of Au, yet they both claim it's a bubble
@fredricktoo... Thats because we "Republicans" have jobs and we don't sit around looking for a handout. If everyone was a Republican, there would be no need for welfare. Bums.
Who has $5,000 and $13,000 right on the spot to invest in such a thing? Seriously, the people doing this have more security than a majority of certain groups in this country. We can't escape this. Buckle down and endure. Hopefully it will encourage us to bring out meaningful reforms.
Somehow Republicans sold the public on the idea that...
(a) Consumer protection runs counter to the interests of business.
(b) Making taxes less progressive, necessitating an increased burden on the middle class encourages growth.
(c) Allowing corporations to have the same speech rights with respect to elections as a person is constitutional.
We're now seeing the long term effects of such policies enacted by a government captured by corporate interests who would have us all be economic slaves.
Sucks for you, but serves you right for listening to anything Glenn Beck said. I don't even watch re-runs of "Becker" anymore because it's too close. I can't even watch David Beckham play soccer. I damn sure can't listen to the old Beck song, "Loser," which pisses me off. That's a cool song.
Everyone should know better than to take the word of Glen Beck. Day after day he misrepresents facts about government policy to fool his audience into supporting the views of those who pay his bills. Glen Beck has become well known for turning the truth on its head at the expense of all of us. This is yet another example of him taking advantage of his audience's trust for the purpose of serving a corporation. Why should commercial lying be tolerated free speech.when trustworthiness is implied?
@JimPagliuca The issue with people is that they do not understand the purchase and selling of Gold may it be coins, bars, and numismatics. People that do not understand Gold should not invest in it. When investing in gold people should in my opinion buy gold only for the weight not for collectability. Numis are way over priced. Gold Eagles are good because everyone recognizes them but don't buy numis. It is the sellers objective to try to upsell you stuff stupid people. I bet the old mangotnumis
Thanks for sharing some great ideas. Keep it coming!

@bigrobdeezey Yeah, but you gotta admit Beck's is pretty good beer. Just have an extra one to make it easier to forget the Glen connection.

@TheCashistrash
ROFL and Anthony Weiner bought how much? If Anthony Weiner is a fool he shouldn't blame others for his stupidity. Someone needs to educate the idiot.
