I don't understand the arguments that ensue when someone mis-classifies a song saying it's electro pop, when it should be trance, or techno, or progressive house. You guys get the point. . . Does me not knowing the exact genre, really affect how much I can enjoy the song? Just a thought.

@Deman444 haha to be honest theres a new genre every week, i play mostly minimal techno when i dj, but i listen to all electronic music, depends where you are in the world ? most cities in my experience have some sort of electronic music scene, im in switzerland, a lot of house music and techno but i know dubstep is real big in america right now too, its great to hear that other people feel the same as me actually haha.. top 40 music sucks, but youll find what your looking for :)

It's progressive trance, which has a slower tempo than most trance and has elements of progressive house in it. I think the best rule of thumb is that progressive house has a "groove" or funkiness to it, whereas progressive trance is more driving and tends to sound really big and spacey. It's just nitpicking, and there is some crossover, but what the hell, let's just enjoy the music! :D
