wow, i read the book peony in love and ever since i've been in love with the chinese culture and of course the peony pavilion. and i recently read memoirs of a geisha which has now made me fascinated about the life of a geisha and i admire their traditions so much!
The stories and the cultures really make me think, and i love how graceful and beautiful the chinese and japanese woman are, especially Geisha.
I feel the same way, only I read memoirs of a Geisha first then found peony in love years later. I was fascinated by eastern culture for long time, its just so beautiful. My next mission is the peony pavillion, if I have the chance!
wow maan, you must spend a lot of time practicing for the show!! lovely singing. beats watching kunqu here in china, can't understand what they sing at all but love to watch their costumes and dance movements.

I sure did! Not easy for amateurs like me. I like kunqu too. Glad you liked the show--it is a little different from the traditional Cantonese opera.
