  • hey man.what i wanted to ask you was frank darabont was involved in any episodes of season 2???i'm asking this because in imdb he is still in the executive producer list on every episode on season 2 and in the premier of season 3.i would love if you feed back...thanks.

  • You loved X-Files, and you don't watch Breaking Bad?!

    Dude, one name: Vince Gilligan!

Anyway, Breaking Bad is the best show EVER, not that animated crap you call!

And since you talk about Friends, and Seinfeld, why make a video about a show, and rant about shows in general, when you have no clue on this topic?!

  • @corpsus1 The topic was The Walking Dead. Sure you watched the right video, or did your ADHD kick in after the 4 second mark?

  • @pizowell Ok genius, then why bring up Friends and Seinfeld?!

  • All these cops shows always find semen. Semen on the body, semen on the wall, semen on the beard... its pretty sweet!

  • @sco6t6t6 Agreed.

  • The show is gonna crash and burn without him

  • So, did Darabont quit, or was he sacked? If the latter, then AMC's action here has to rank as the single stupidest act in Hollywood history since Richard Donner was fired from Superman II with half the movie in the can. Does anyone truly believe that Darabont's input wasn't the main reason Season 1 was so good? Idiotic. The show will suffer massively because of this, of that I am 2000% certain.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 From what I read it sounded like they fired him. The main reason being "creative differences". I'm not sure how much influence he had over season 2 or how many episodes of the new season he was directly involved in. But, yeah, it seems like a bad move. We'll see.

  • I didnt know about this, thanks for sharing. Did you ever try Dexter?

  • @ArkhamKnight84 Yeah, I watched season 1. Thought it was pretty good. Haven't seen any episodes beyond that, though.

  • Thanks for this information, I didn't know about this. But there is still potential left for the show, though, so I'm not too nervous about it.

  • Be interesting to know what Kirkman thinks of Darabonts 'departure' seeing as he was clearly over joyed at his involvement.

  • This makes me very sad! Zombies always get a bad rap:(

  • :( dammit

  • i hope there will not be any disruptions in the shows airing date for season 2 with franks departure. Let alone not talk about a season 3 is still on or not without frank. I hope there will be more seasons though. tv sucks without those kind of shows like x-files, the wd,

  • What i heard is that Frank Darabont, got fired becuse that the higher bosses wanted to cut down the size of zombies. and Frank could not take that in it would be very poor. a zombie moive/serise without large nummbers of zombies is noting to watch!

  • @ArugalSwe exactly right, he wanted more zombies because he believed that a world turned to zombies should have a real number of zombies instead of just 1 or 2 walking around in the street. Darabont knew what he was doing and hopefully this show does not get ruined because of AMC's stupid ass but if the show does start to show departure of viewers then hopefully AMC will get smart and higher him back

  • @supertyty93 we can allways hope that he will return, i realy realy got ireterated when i heard that they fired him. I couldnt understand why at first? As i saw in interviews and so on. I didnt saw a man wannted to do this for Cash, he did this with mind and soul. He realy belived in the show. that is the thing i most is pissing me off

  • we need frank darabont !

  • I am pissed that Frank Darabont was fired and I am petitioning AMC so that Frank gets rehired and the show goes back to full budget, check the link change.org/petitions/dont-kill-the-zombies

  • i'm still looking forward to the second season.

  • I feel the same way about TV in general. Most of it is unwatchable, recycled crap. As for The Walking Dead, I loved Season 1 and am looking forward to Season 2, with or without Darabont. The fact that they are cutting each episode's budget is a little curious.

  • I LOVED season 1 and can't wait for season 2. I think Darabont was a big part of that series success. Too bad he's no longer associated with the show. I'm not a big fan of TV, either. At least not since Buffy. I miss my Spike. :*(

  • @demithehorrorgal Alas, the slayer of the vampires. But she'll always be with us...in re-run form, at least.

  • You need to watch Lost Pizo.

  • @Flapjackoftheyear I watched a couple episodes of season 1 way back when, but I heard it got really stupid toward the end.

  • And yes, I totally agree that the only shows that seem to be popping up more often than not, are Cop shows, Lawyer shows and of course Hospital shows. It's funny that they don't see this pattern or maybe they do, but choose to ignore it because it's all about making money.

I'm waiting for Al Pacino to get his own Lawyer TV show. Something along the lines of 'And Justice For All' or maybe his own Cop show, ala 'Serpico' or some shit. TV sucks!!

  • I read an interview with Frank Darabont in a horror magazine (can't remember which one) about 'the walking dead' series and his plans for a second season. Frank reacted as if he were already tired of the series and the grueling work that went along with it.

He pretty much said that he just finished the first season and he just wanted to relax and not think about a second season, in so many words of course.

I could tell that he probably didn't want to continue the series. Just a hunch.

  • you and i seem to feel the same about tv. i just don't believe in the medium. it's got too many restrictions on it that stifles creativity and because its audience is probably broader than that of any other medium, it constantly panders to the lowest common denominator (i personally hate using that phrase because it's generally used by people trying to sound smart but felt that it actually fit quite well here)

as for Walking Dead, the comic never wowed me so it's hard to believe in the show.

  • @jetsilveravenger You've never seen an episode of The Walking Dead!?

  • @pizowell on the contrary; i've seen them all.

  • @jetsilveravenger You had me worried for a second.

  • @pizowell i think you're overestimating Darabont's value. if they need someone to write episodes based on an ongoing comic series that has already achieved a high level of success and acclaim, i'm available. i'll never believe that adapting books and comics into screenplays is that hard. true, people mess it up all the time, but those people are talentless hacks.

  • @jetsilveravenger You lousy Canadians think you're so smart, don't you!? You think because you have universal healthcare and little to no gun violence that your shit don't stink!

  • @pizowell that's it, precisely, redneck!

  • @jetsilveravenger Son, yer big mouts ritin cheks yer puppy dawg ass caint cashe

  • @pizowell aw, come on now. i know you like my perdy mouth.

  • Had a lot of time management problem in fact most the subs I might eventually dump but I don't want to deal with the hassle right now of having to manually click on all those links and say unsubcribed right now because there so many of them.

  • getting the whole series on dvd is not possible do to several of the episode got banned of that. for fuck shake we don't have sailor moon on dvd season sets past season 2 aka the second half of the nega verse saga. Some how some people from the negaverse are still alive depsite queen barrel being killed there trying to us some tree to restore it some how. I stopped watching it about half way through season 2 online.

  • dvd the seasons sets are super over price on line and some episodes have been left of seaon 1 its missing the 3 pilot episodes then season 4 -6 I think 2 and 3 are the only ones that are complete. I also hate it when they released then in more then one volume to get all the series season thats avilable legaly. They did that with pokemon indago league. You have to by i think its 2 or 3 volumes to get it all.

  • I never saw it. There are to many of those half ash csi miami knock of these days. Except unlike csi miani they actually suck. Csi Miami is awasome. Mybusters was still on about 6 months our so ago. Currently the season is over our there have legal problems this has happen 2 our 3 other times prior to season 6 being released. Word of advice if your a die hard mybusters fan it's probably better to by the mini collections.

  • This is the first time I heard of Frank Sarabont being fired, but I still think the second season will be great. But I am not a fan that they cut the budget for the show. If the show is the highest rated show than I don't get why they cut the budget.

  • Yeah piz, I kinda knew in my gut Darabont would not stay on this project forever, as many directors do, they always move on. but i didn't expect all this new info i am hearing about the circumstances behind his departure as well. and the budget gets me too, thats a no-brainer to me, look at the x-files, they had a good coule first seasons and fox began to pour the money jug into the franchise, it just got bigger and bigger. My guess would be that I don't think the DVD/Blu of s1 sold well...

  • @EnduranceProductions (cont) because most of us just DVR'd it or recorded it with our DVD recorders when it was on (its what I did, heck it was in widescreen on HD channels, why not!?hehe, I know I am an eternal cheap-o!hehe) but i noticed the other day at wally mart they they are still trying to sell hordes of s1 on DVD/Blu. Just a guess, because it seems everything in the movie world is movie to the home and post theater markets, and in some cases by-passing them fully (ex. The Ward, Survival)

  • @EnduranceProductions I DVR'd it AND bought the Blu-ray of Season 1. Darabont might have just been difficult to deal with or a control freak or something. IDK. AMC definitely used him to sell the show at Comic Con and then, right afterward, announced that he was no longer the showrunner. Seems a little shady on their part.

  • Oh that's just crazy, they should left him on that really shady for amc to do that.

  • I don't think it will make a difference imho cause it seemed the cast and crew worked excellent together. The Walking Dead is filmed 1 hour from me in Atlanta and they blocked off a highway about 30 minutes from me for 2 days in filming a parts of it last month. I think season 2 will be great imho and loved 1st season.

  • I cant believe that they cut the budget by half on The Walking Dead , surely they could still make loads of cash with the bigger budget . I heard that the show Mad Men is taking all the cash and that is effecting The Walking Dead & Breaking Bad . Hopefully WD wont go down the pan now. Good vid mate!!

  • You forgot hospital shows :p

Maybe Darabont was too difficult to work with for the people involved in the show?

Wonder if we will hear more details on what happened.

  • @Absolutesublime1 Yeah, I forgot about hospital shows. We'll probably get more details about the split later on, but I'm sure it had to do with either money or creative differences, etc. The usual BS.
