  • Thanks for the comment on "Moondust". You got a nice version here, man.

  • very nicely played

  • nice

  • hey great job! loved hearing it on keyboard. and thank you for writing out thse chords. i'll try to spice mine up a bit with them! happy new year by the way!

  • could sound good on a piano version that instrument a little too harsh

  • It was nice to listen too. Thanks for posting.

  • Don't sell yourself short... this is beautiful. Terry Black would be proud. Just saw Meatballs, again, yesterday and I wanted to hear this song again. I was a CIT the same year Meatballs came out. Aside from the battle of the different camps, there weren't too many things that were different.

  • Ha! I thought I was the only one who liked this tune. I hunted this album for years then I finally found it about 15 years ago. Then I had to go and buy a turntable so I could listen to it. Good job with the tune.

  • Good Job! Love this song.I was 14 when it came out.Now 45 and wishing for those carfree days again! Thanks for the memory-John

  • Thanks for the advice on the guitar chords.

You know it's funny how a simple low budget movie produced a couple of quite beautiful, under the radar, songs: Moondust and Good Friends by Mary MacGregor. I didn't really realize how much people appreciated the songs until I went online and began to read other peoples comments. Thanks again.

  • Thanks! Any difference for guitar?

  • It should be the same chords for the guitar.

  • Could give us the chords to Moondust? It would be appreicated.

  • Thanks Mickey. Here are the chords: (Intro) G, G sus, G - Let's (E7 w/ A flat bass) say it was the (A minor 7th) moondust, (D7), that drifted down from (G Major) heaven, (E minor 7th) to fall upon your (A minor 7th) shoulders, (D7), and nestle in your (G Major) eyes.... (same chords until) .... and it made me (B 7th) helpless, and it made me (E minor) always want to (A major) stay that (D Major) way..... let me know if that wasn't clear enough... and have fun with a great song.

  • Hey great! A favorite of mine too! Nice rendition.

  • Almost forgot, the very last chords are C major (instead of G Major), then G Major, G sus, G Major
