120 guns would be possible including carronades and other small guns but more than that is hard to belive

until 1816 or so, carronades weren't counted in the ship's armament, neither were bow or stern chasers. And even then they had ships of more than 120 guns, e.g. the spanish Santissima Trinidad with 136 (or 140, dunno for sure).

It's pretty good game. But in battles where there are 20+ ships, things get impossible to control. It's would be better if it had the option of grouping fleets and when them under AI control.

Number of guns says nothing about total firepower. Take into account the weight of their shot. Even more importantly, the faster reloading times of the better-trained and more experienced crews allowed the Royal Navy to consistently defeat ships up to about 50% larger than their own.

Sorry, but what history showed wasn't that the U.S. had a better chance when ships were one on one. It's more like even. This is because though the Royal Navy's men were more skilled and disiplined, American frigates had more guns than British frigates, as the American's couldn't exactly build first, second or third rate ships. The encounters referred to involved US vs. British frigates, not the pride of the Royal Navy.

Actually this is because that wind and waves make the ship pitch on and on and because this was a smaller ship its pitching was very unstable so it looks like it is sinking its based on real life but its just a game

3 Times as big yes, and 3 times as slow=less manueverable in combat, harder to aim at a faster moving target, this simulation is accurate, and if you look how the Royal Navy did against U.S. ships of this period this IS

Yankee frigates bloody great.

Looked like a frigate but sailed faster and far better armed than any other frigate in its class.
