@RangerPate its not all about speed ,its about a hobby , a concept , driving skills ,,tuning skills ,you cant drive around a race track at 70 mph. funny how nobody wants to tune or tinker anymore everyone wants the easy way out by flickin a switch. speed runs get boring real quick.

It is not too difficult, I did the porting and other mods, it was my first go on nitro engine mod. I think my motor thread at beatyourtruck is still there, search user ranger walker , or thread called traxxas slayer (started by me)

So what you are saying is that u didn't watch the two video's of me beating one. They are crappy quality but I did do it. You would have to change the gearing a lot. I have a radar gun and the jato is 8mph slower on the top too. 2 speed Jato-64mph Single speed firestorm 72mph

I have a hundred dollar single speed .21 it a st that I did that will walk all over a jato with that same motor. I did his 3.3 too and it will snap like that with the tires on the ground at any speed. Lets see you do that without the lean bottom and high idle too.

My savage murder this thing any day same engine size too. I ported mine like hell (os hyper .21 8 port) and got a $100 O.S T-1510 tuned pipe and it dose wheelies now and beats my .25 hpi mt2 with a big block

@RangerPate i have one as well its no different ,sure the top crown is seperate,,wow,makes no diff in performance bro.Play with the crank timimg,,balance the crank up and open the ports get risd of the compasite carb and pop a os 18 tz carb on it and a decent buku pipe ,good 3 shoe set up with 30% and now you will bring it 2 life a bit.

The DD con rod was 40$ shipped, GHR head 22$ and pull starter 15$.

I also did some slight porting on the sleeve and the exhaust manifold + pipe.

That was pretty much all I did.
