  • I'm no expert but clearly there is a hidden meaning behind the meaning of the text, who ever wrote this was hiding his research so he wasn't taken to the stake for witchcraft, he most likely hid the decipher very cleverly, my guess its inside the book, maybe logged in the pages?

  • The writing looks like the script on the Fellowship of the Ring ring.

  • Coming from a time when herbalists, midwives, Romany people, and even scientists were fearing being taken to the stake for "witchcraft" it was needful to keep your work secret. I'm no expert, but this is SO PLAINLY an herbal grimoire that I wonder why all the fuss. The illustrations should make at least that much very clear. The real fuss is about the code in which it was written, and experts not able to break that code . . . its an ego issue.

  • private codes were the thing back then why are people so astounded by this?

  • hail the father of all Trolls... :D

  • @pasaysown Nice

  • @boots992134 If u learned english, u would immediately see words that arent english, as english. Stop and analyse, it would be obvious it isnt

  • woah woah, hold on! Im sure that when they were looking over the pages of the new manuscript I could see actual english words!!

  • @mr.southernracist- weirdo is not me. Sometimes you have to read books to educate yourself and widen your narrow-minded brain.

  • the pretentious fraud who assumes a love of culture that is alien to him — Richard Watts

  • It didn't happen that way, but nice theory.

  • i dont think the world-order will let the secrets reveal....

  • nobody will never ever translate these manuscripts. NO ONE. These are manuscripts of the angels. So only the Holy Angels of the Sovereign God ALmighty could interpret all of these.

  • @liliput91 and what would angels need books for exa tly ya fucked up wierdo

  • lol "It's a cook book" twilight zone

  • This is another reason why so called experts are screw ups. Trying to prove this is a hoax? The manuscript is too perfect. No scratching out. The drawings are sinister. Only meant for the initiate to understand. One should try to prove it real and then fake to get to the truth. People will believe the bible is real but they can't believe in off world ideas. Nothing to worry about... no intelligence down here! The writing has darker and lighter emphasis suggesting different meanings for letter

  • i have a feeling that that just say TRLOLOLO LOLOL LOLOLOLOOOOOO!

  • w w w lunarplanner(dot)com/HCpages/Venus.html

a few pictures down the page that shows the pentagonal orbit of Venus as seen from Earth, over 8 years. this could relate to 5-petaled flowers for example.

and the metal for Venus being copper is notable, copper blood is blue. there's many writings on blue beings used to live here.

crabs (helmet-shaped ones) are prehistoric and have copper blood, it's more efficient than iron blood.

  • i don't see why anyone would think this is a hoax just cause they can't read it. it looks like someone's noted down plant physiology and its connections to astronomy and healing.

look at goethe and biodynamic plant-astrology, it looks along the same lines as that.

  • "It shows you're about more than money." by owning something expensive & rare? I've met Terpstra. The guy likes to THINK he's pretty profound. This foolishness sounds exactly like something he'd say.

Most very wealthy do NOT display their most rare/valuable "assets". Many such artifacts are plunder, pillaged/stolen. The great majority of such items are labeled, numbered, inventoried & squirreled away in guarded warehouses & vaults, simply. investments of the greedy.

    Terpstra's wacko.

  • The original title of the book is:

    HOW TO UNDERSTAND WOMEN

  • why would anyone waste this much time to make a fake book? not likely its just a long forgotten language that no one can read!

  • To me: it looks like a bestiary of giant killer plants that walk on their roots. The plants on pages 4 and 6 appear to be rooted in the ground while a lot of the other plants have their roots exposed. Maybe the guy who made this thing found a portal to another dimension where the sky is all messed up and the land is terrorized by freak-of-nature broccoli monsters and naked women working on bizarre Dr. Suess-style plumbing projects.

  • How many Professors and Doctors does it take to not understand this is just a early science textbook from Slavinia written in Cursive Glagolitic a dead language but easily decipherable. Embarassing (remember to turn the book upside down though they always show it wrong side up for some reason)

  • @brakanur - good point, it does look like that script.

  • This is text written in a dead language not Latin, Arabic or Germanic. I located a couple samples and verified the same letters and forms. Why linguists and scholars haven't figured it out is a mystery to me.

  • Its 2th grade drawing book from planet 250 lightyears away.............

  • kevin sent me from 9gag

  • @ScaryFrog Crap! I'm sorry, I didn't realise... How about if I change "Mordor" with "elves".

We still don't know which it is right?

  • a guy from 9GAG who sent us on this part of youtube sent me heeere!!

  • 1:05 someone wrote 4chan

  • Why do you guys have to declare everything hoax? You know what is the real hoax? Our right to information!

  • 9gag let m here...

  • @panic2u Same! It's a awesome story.

  • @SoflesViolence yeah good thing that post came out or else never would of found out about it :D

  • @panic2u creepy amazing tories part 5.

  • This method could be easily detected with computers. Heck, even the table could be recreated.

  • If researchers in 600yrs time found a manuscript full of fake plants, recipes, places and words, what could they have found...

That's right. It appears Medieval peeps played D&D.

  • One does not simply decode the language of Mordor.

  • @MFCepicTV wow, u copied a comment, are you proud of yourself?

  • 9gagers?

  • Already solved... xkcd.com/593/

  • Giorgio Tsoukalos:it was written by Aliens

  • In Rome?I know who wrote this book...Leonardo da Vinci...LooL

    Only can be...

  • @Onun99 ''Are you fucking kidding me?'' :-w

  • @ralubendis Yeah...of course I'm kidding...xD

  • 9gag?

  • @Ranaki yep

  • So all we got out of this clip is that the author could have made this manuscript within a few weeks?

  • the more the secret, the more intriguing.. lol

  • It's just the Elder Scrolls....

  • i downloaded the .pdf and to me is looks either like some sort of almanac or a book pertaining to some sort of doctor/farmer.. the symbols incorporat woman in different stages of pregnancy.. but idk...

  • Chuck Norris read this book upside down with a blindfold on.

  • Give me a FREAKEN BREAK, it's obvious this is a Herbal book. The language is a type of ancient Greek.

  • My time travel journal D:

    Give it back D:

  • Man, what if it was a journal? You're trying to invade his privacy. He might be kinda happy we can't read it, -_-

  • probably some dudes journal

  • @DesertF0X1 with naked womens?hmm...maybe :))

  • i really really really doubt that somebody made a fake like that

  • the book is the father of Lorem Ipsum

  • The Voynich Manuscript is a notebook left behind by an alien child. The pictures of the plants come from the Yemeni island of Socotra. To learn more go to YouTube channel atlanticobr and ask for Jappa.

  • huh.....so there is one more manuscript.......i tought my ancestor destroy them all ok maybe in the future that book needs to be destroyed

  • Stupid theory inner earth

  • Rugg is wrong!..it's from inner earth!..so called experts keep fooling around until they see the architecture & plant life in the inner earth!..

  • i have already solved it

  • Vojnich was a Croatian, and we have our old croatian letters we stop to use in 13. century .Is called Glagolitic .Maybe it helps to look at.

  • these are the years and dates if you were to really look closer

  • man.....Either this book could unlock huge secrets about the past and future...Or the author is the best Troll that ever lived. :\

  • @blaxicat2005 lmao

  • @blaxicat2005 My vote is the most praiseworthiness troll of all time. We should all rage against him in his honor.

  • @blaxicat2005 A world-class Troll i think.

  • @blaxicat2005 i really believe that the huge secrets of our evolution and the ''missing'' link is hidden in the vatican ....

Why would someone capture it in a book thats now even for our eyes to see???

  • holy shit this could really be an amazing quest in Skyrim

  • Zzzzzzz.....It is not interesting at all !!! Just because it is difficult to decifer doesn't mean that it bears something really interesting!!! Burn it !!! It's useless!!!

  • it's fucking alchemy, alchemist would always encrypt there formula's in many ways such as cook books, poems, books, plays, and sometimes they would even make up there own language that only they can decrepit so no one can steal them.

  • give those scripts to Legacy Of Thousand Suns community, they will decrypt anything :D

  • Could be a lost book of Enoch.

  • soooo the whole thing is a whole lot of nothing..

  • Comment removed

  • Jesuit porn.

  • If no one can interpret or decipher it, what good is it to anyone. Who ever said our ancestors didn't have a sense of humor. What a great multigenerational joke.

  • ok now that the misinformed and misguided have had their say, the truth about this manuscript is that it is a medical book of sorts. What is entailed in the book are remedies from different plants for particular ailments of the time. The writer was also heavily into the celestial stars, hororscope and overall gives a descriptive of birth and possibly the reproductive aspect of it. Look at it as a medical manual and you will begin to identify the cifer and what the book contains.

  • @sinceroamo Excellent! Found that too.

  • no one don't want me to teach it well I made a new of writing well its still 200 from is turn in English into Ati takes time but its now simple as my age a 17 year old well my recalcitrant is more than 365 years old as I'm in a body of a human not a Wolffox human, since all seen my art I guess

  • why you asked because in my time period I created the book which I count in my past life's languages so its more mixed European and Asian languages,no its not a google translator

neither its a object, the book contain hidden knowledge well its unknowing to human as if the language you all see is more rare than before it my language called Ati why will you asked about well its very hard to master because it never been on this earth before I and 100 others on earth can only speak, write it since

  • doses fools they have my book which I wrote the hidden methods that no one in this world knows yet damn it this is going to cost me alot of time to get it back.there's more the book you all see contains my history back 365 years which it possible that during the 1500s-1600s I only placed to book in Italy in case of any trying to find it but now since a human has from it is now a cursed book,

  • Well, there goes your Jesuits trying to hide every thing! So, Jesuits who have master minded all our major historic events can't seem to understand how to run a library!? Maybe the crazies owe the Society of Jesus an apology. The Jesuits I have met through my university are brilliant in mind, conservative in appearance, and unequaled in faith. Why don't the scholars of doom check-out the Protestant churches of our founding fathers? What's the connection between Protestant Churches and freemas

  • Am i the only one that thinks this way? It was found in an Jesuit library in 1912 near Rome. What Professor Rugg shows at 2:00 that the Voynich Manuscript has been made by an another Manuscript. (example: 3:24) So instead of looking into the Voynich, look for the another one in the Jesuit library !

  • maybe its a cookbook

  • It's a manuscript about smoking weed !

    Or maybe a world-end book !

  • I am reckoning there is someone out there that knows whats written in that book. and could translate it.

  • i see the symbol pi

  • It appears to be a very old and ancient manuscript about the "physics" of that time period. Remember that we have yet to discover alot or all species of plant and animal life so it possibly is about the plants and species of that time. We didn't have recorders or anything so we don't know what species they had. They could have had anything. We still wont know what it is unless we go on evidence from around the area the book was found and there maybe is another book that connects with this one.

  • ..A Renaissance version of an alchemy based get rich quick scheme. The occult was a popular subject in those days like it is now.

  • his method still leads to repeating patterns and doesn't account of multiples of one letter in a single word.

  • wow amazing this is new to me! :) Very good documentary! :)

  • but they never painted any pictures ,they only done text some of the drawings are masterpieces and some are just rough sketch,it truly is an awesome book

  • "it's a CookBook.. it's a CookBook!" - To Serve Man (The Twilight Zone)

  • It's easy to dismantle a theory or an unexplained event or thing. it's in fact oh so easy. i've yet to see people going the opposite path whilst trying to disprove them. it's usually kill then ask question if any are asked at all.

  • Dang it I knew I left my dairies somewhere in Rome thats what you get when you sleep for 100000 years now I'm gonna have to go to yale and ask them to stop trying because it holds my darkest secrets ....including my secret crush

  • I noticed lately that one of the versions of Henry VIII's signatures looks identical to this writing. Bored rich boy?

  • Didn't John Dee, and even Isaac Newton use a coded language to record their alchemical secrets? The illustrations in this book looks like a recipe book for mixing various plant parts together. The little naked women could represent elementals. Fascinating!

  • Silly experts....use google translator...

  • @papparazi81

thats not even funny, google translator doesn't even work properly

  • Did they use the lagueage enochian PROBBLY NOT. *face palm*

  • You need a 7 layered sphere, with symbols in order. Then you shift it by increments as you progress, creating new sets of alphabets.

    Then you smoke more pot.

  • Rugg has been debunked.... His theory has been dismissed by mainstream linguists and cryptologists...

  • Maybe its just a book written by an idiot savant???? Maybe we can't decode it because all our world languages don't fit it, so why is it so hard to believe it MIGHT have come from another world, not unlike ours????

  • There's an app for that.

  • After viewing another video on this unuual circles in Jordan that kind of look like circles in this book and I wonder they have some kind of connection. And have anyone notice that the writing in the Voynich code book look like elf writing from the Lord of the Rings?

  • These show's the things work in our world, if it ment to be readable, this world will be fucked. i'd rather let the world be peace :)

  • lol weed brownies? well, some occultists, use books like that, w herbs for spells in them to show what to use, they also, change the spells one or two things in them as to make them, be copy proof for others, (a trick they use) could be something to that nature, or someone who came up w/ their own language to keep it hidden from prying eyes ...sometimes that knowledge is best kept secret..

  • i wrote that shit when i was high its just an epic tale similar to Through The Looking Glass

  • This Chuck Norris stuff must be a new way to express -i am quite stupid and i do not understand this and do not intend to learn anything new either. Chuck Norris trolls stopped being funny like 5 yrs ago already, and they have not realized even that. Move on. Even Chuck Norris has.

  • Lol this fucker is really nervous and he has the right to ^^

  • STOP TRYNA MAKE IT LOOKK LIKE A FAKE

  • THIS IS COMPLETE NONSENSE= CANT ANY OF THESE UNIVERSITIES, AFFORD LIGHTS"?""" PROFESSOR RUGGS IS A TOTAL MORON AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEACH DOGGS TO ROLL OVER. DONT TELL ME WHAT ITS NOT......TELL ME WHAT IT IS, OR SHUT THE HELL UP. THIS IS WHAT LIBERAL TEACHERS TEACH, TOTAL NONSENSE....

  • @DIOSpeedDemon What if you don't like the answer??

  • The author must be giggling in his grave !!

  • @casinaroyale maybe the author is not in the grave yet.

  • This book is the secret to defeating Chuck Norris!

  • @NorthTX99 CHUCK NORRIS WOULD HAVE STARED AT THIS BOOK AND IT WOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY SURRENDERED AND GIVEN UP IT SECRETS....CHUCK NORRIS NEVER LOSES...

  • @DIOSpeedDemon LOL too funny. The words would have just run away. All kidding aside, I do think this is a very fascinating find and I want to know the meaning as well. Just fun to joke every once in a while and thanks for responding jokingly lol. Chuck Norris may be the only one to be able to decipher this! LOL

  • @NorthTX99 Never mind Chuck Norris.

  • alien- lizards are amongst us!!! god help us all!!!

  • to which year this manuscript dates ??

i mean was this a language ? or like the video says the author was just faking a language ?

  • Does anyone know how to download the PDF file of the book? Or get a copy of it?

  • God this is so exciting!! Maybe it's a conlang or something

  • Just because you found a way to replicate the text doesn't mean that's what happened. We can apply modern thinking to it, but you have to understand if a book was made back then it wasn't going to be gibberish. They extremely expensive and valuable, and no one would ever think of making a book out of pure gibberish. So, if the carbon dating is correct, it should have some meaning. If it is a hoax, it must be an amazing one.

  • Analphabet was trying to write a book, so what?

  • Well, it is pretty obvious, it is a recipe to weed brownies.

  • @188metalhead881 HAHAHAHA very funny

  • @188metalhead881 hahhahah good one

  • @188metalhead881 You might need weed brownies to actully READ it! It might work...lol

  • Plant medicine. I wouldn't be surprised if Cannabis is in there. But there are also astronomical references. Hm.

  • @dontkeepthisname none of the plants in the manuscript are plants that we know of.

  • His method is feasible but unlikely.

  • This is garbage...

With the use of this method you could say that any unknown language is a hoax.

  • @Illuminotorious or it could be only uncovered with a codebook to break the hidden messages. only with codebook to help with secret texts & letters

  • its for makin a weed cake

  • it was obviously written by a person with extreme bad writing

    duh

  • @toosikforyou LOL :P

  • its a recipe for shroom soup and hash cookies.

  • its recipe for shroom soup and hash cookies.

  • first of all, i don't think voynich manuscript is catchy (bummer). second; i seriously started to think that leonardo da vinci may be the author of the book and the language is medieval italian with a style maybe? Of course in that case, anagrams are a must. the guy was a mindfu**er after all.

  • does it show how many writers was involved ,how many jars of different ink was used, where the paper" was made-where it was stored, whom it was handeld with thus littering it with their dna.. This research looks like bull from undocomentry channel.

  • Voynich manuscript is written and ecrypted in the Czech language. Author manuscript czech alchemist 15 th century = JOHN of LAZY. Real name manuscript

GOLD - MUD ( Zlato Bláto). 1454. Manuscript can not resolve the English language.

    info : Zlatoděj J.T.

  • @ZLATODEJ no its about the fountain of youth ,,

  • I TRANSLATED SOME!!! this is what i got: Tofezd, Iccefg oteheg offlg fal. I feel good very strange. wut?

  • @cheezbrgers If you want a hint read the lyrics by the band acheron from the album: those who have risen

  • @cheezbrgers it about the fountain of youth ,,, and what comprises it

  • well i have download the pdf version of this book and i figured it out that there are patterns wich have deep meaning with the number 12. The astrological cirlcles that clearly have zodiac sings or figures that represent most signs in the center, also there are 12 ladies with different names...and in my opinion this book is about the fertilitation of plants and the best periods of the year, when there are supposed to grow. The roots of some plants are compared.. 9, 8, P, H, LL TT often repeated

  • Language of Atlantis?

  • The manuscript is a work of fantasy, the plants are a fictional interpretation on real diagrams the person had probably seen, the words must also be a work of fantasy. I think the manuscript is a highly personal and spiritual imaginition of the mystery of life inspired by microscopic, telescopic glances, plant life. My guess is that the person was: female, illiterate, young, sought escape, and before anyone thought about DNA imagined life at its heart was based upon cyrptic building codes.

  • @bradforddean1 no its about the fountain of youth ,, and the formula from the plants that were used ,,,

  • @bradforddean1

cool theory but you shouldnt state opinion as fact lol, for all we know it could be something completely different

  • @bradforddean1

The materials were pretty expensive at the time. How would this young illiterate girl get access to them?

  • @pressira You got a point there. The general public in the late middle ages were living in poverty. In order to accommodate your valid circumstances, I will qualify my theory by saying that she not only was illiterate and young but also pretty hot looking too. A peasant girl take in by a kind mentor from the clergy who offered the only gift he had to offer.

  • Radiocarbon dating puts it at 1400-1450. At that time europe was at the stage of the late middle ages - a time of intense academic activity fueled by scholars leaving the beseiged Byzantine city of Constantinople who came with what seemed to be bizarre new texts and ideas from the classic period. My guess, and its a wild guess at that, is that some person, perhaps illiterate, was inspired by the new and bold humanistic way of thinking among academics and created the Voynich manuscript.

  • I was thinking more on the line like short hand!

  • Cant these experts buy some damn lights for the video? Dont tell me what it is Not, Tell me what it IS......So your creating fake texts based on an Unknown symbols and calling it victory? Tell me what college this is, so my kids Never attend it.

  • @DIOSpeedDemon Demon... the thing is, nobody has much of an idea of what it is, so this method is one way to try and figure that out. If it is possible to recreate the patterns found in the Ms., that might help understand how it might have been created in the first place. It is not being called a "victory", it is only an experiment to see one possible way it could have been done. I was actually standing there when this was filmed... and it is quite striking and enlightening to see it in action.

  • @proto57 The document is fraudulent to what? - The real document? There is nothing like it and the writing shows a distinct pattern. It may be a artists imagination, but what we can do in todays age is use an electron microscope and carbon date the vellum or whatever it was written on. After the Professor buys some lights , he can make a video of the findings if Yale can afford to have these tests done. That would go a long way to proving when the document was made, what ink was used. RH DSD

  • @DIOSpeedDemon C14 dating was done by the producers of a Dec. '09 documentary, "The Voynich Ratsel", made in Austria (now on youtube), which aired throughout Europe. Yale agreed to the tests, and did not have to pay for them. The tests showed an age of @ 1404 to 1438. A group called "McCrone" did chemical testing on inks and paints, and they say the composition is what would be expected at the time the vellum was dated to. But age and a "real" pattern does not mean it contains meaning.

  • @proto57 That is very interesting , but much more needs to be done at minimal expense. An Electron Microscope scan of the pages would reveal possible spore samples or some evidence of where the document was made. Like the Shroud of Turin scan. The document and pictures were outlined with "no mistakes", or rewrites and you say it may have no meaning? Perhaps you are right. I believe it is a very ordered document about "?", who knows? To say it contains no meaning is negligent. RH DSD

  • @proto57 Pictures of stars circling a sun. Written in Early 1400's even before Copernicus suggested the earth revolve around the sun? Even before Galileo proved this theory to be correct? The Pictures do not lie. I suppose our Author in 1404 just dreamed that up too, and drew it? I believe the manuscript is a collection of symbols, which some have three slight variations, that form in groups to form a meaning of some kind. The next step is to ascertain what the book is "About"-and go from there.

  • @DIOSpeedDemon You are making a mistake by assuming I in any way think your ideas are incorrect. I agree with you, that these are possibilities. In fact I strongly believe this is post-Colombian... and probably post-Cortesian. I mean, I think it was written after about 1530... probably after 1550... on "old vellum". And I also believe that it has meaning, and your theories I have no dispute with, as a possible. My only point is that I do not discount gibberish or fantasy or fiction of some kind.
