When you sacrifice your friendship to become bf/gf, there's one thing that i can suggest. be completely honest. Really honest. I'm in a relationship with my best friend that i have been friends with for 7 years and we've been official for 4 months last week. It works, BUT you need to truly trust that individual with no secrets cause you're bringing that person even closer than you have ever expected.

i find this irrelevant, because if that person was a REAL best friend, you wouldnt mind sharing something that personal and intimate with them, if anything it would bring you two closer, it has for me. we tried out a relationship, and sex, and it didnt work out for us on that level, but it made us realize how close we really are. yeah, you cant ever look at them the same, but its up to you to make that change in perspective a good thing, or a bad thing.
