Hey I found this video very interesting I have one question on my 2004 g35 coupe whenever I put a cd in it tells me check disc and won't play !?!?!? Whats going on please help
My radio display will not come on, radio does not work, no controls on the dash work. Air is set on auto and I cannot change the temperature. Is this a stereo problem?
THIS IS A STEREO PROBLEM!!! We know this from our experience. Yes, I realize this may be difficult to understand, specially with all the conflicking information you have seen or heard. Talk to our repair tech 8004281909.
I'm out of the shop today. I'll have to talk this problem over with the G35 stereo repair tech here at the shop on Monday, I'll get back with the answer...
Great video! hopefully someone can help me out, my 2003 g35 Bose system simply shuts off while im driving, when this happens all i see on the lcd is _AUX_ and i hear clicking from the rear speakers, the only fix is turing the car off for a minute or so, then the radio may work for hours without a glitch. Does this sound like HU problem? I miss my radio =(
Where do i start??? i just got this 2003 infiniti g35 sedan. the problem is the cruise control light comes on but the cruise control does not work. also, i have a problem with the sub whoofers. they go on and off every now and then.
I have a 2003 g35 that has some sort of electrical issue. When I turn my ignition all the way up to the A/C point all of my interior electronics function properly (i.e. stereo, a/c unit, instrumentation lights). However, when I proceed to turn the ignition once more and the engine starts up all of these electronics cease to function, only once in a while I'll get lucky and they remain on when I start my car..Any ideas??
@crunnrlls sounds to me like a problem with the ignition switch or a relay that may control your accessories, probably ign switch though. drop the dash and check with volt meter
great video. I have a 2003 g35 sedan that has been giving me this problem for a while. I have replaced the radio unit with another oem one and im still getting this drain once and a while...its seems to be intermittent, it will come and go. I've read that the amp is powering on and making a draw. Is this a malfunction with the amp itself or does the radio control that? In other words, is the radio powering on the amp, or is the amp faulty?
@bumblebeecbr You could unplug the amplifier, it is located in the trunk bolted to the bottom of the rear package shelf. See if the current draw continues. My guess would be the stereo, again. With the number of these stereos we see in shop for repair this is a stereo problem. See carstereohelp (dot) com
We do repair of factory car stereo. This is a common problem we see and take care of here in shop, Factory Car Stereo Repair, Inc. at carstereohelp(dot)com
Any Chance of making a video on how to repair the ERR FO message if this video did not fix the problem, I can't find it anywhere on the net. I have removed the head unit, pulled out the stuck CD and still have the problem after re-installing. Any info would help. Thanks
Thank you for this! I'm having the AC/radio problem right now and the dealership has replaced the finisher board for me and now I'm waiting on the radio (spent $1300 so far!). I'll have them test the old finisher board once the new radio comes in. This is great info, thanks again!!
But you didn't say if the key must be plugged in the car before removing the fuse. Should the battery be turned on first or it should be completely off ?
Key off. You are removing the constant +12 volts to the stereo. This removes all power to the stereo to reset. If problems persist, this is a repair issue. Please see the link in the video for repair.
THANK YOU MAN.......

Cruise control, I'm no help with this one...
As for intermittent subwoofers, this is usually an amplifier problem.
