I finally got to work on my first entry video! It has a whopping 14 seconds done. Saddest part is those 14 seconds took me like 40 minutes to do. It's amazing how long masking takes when you're still new to it. I'm so glad the deadline is over a month away! What I can't believe is that there are only 8 entries!! :O

Like trying to make an amv about the friendship between two same-sex characters and not making it romantic. O.o;; Very difficult. (Or heck, and two friends at all.)
I think friendship, tributes, and fun vids are so easy because all you do is follow the song, but romance vids so much is left up in the air you have to infer all the details -.- but friendship vids are easy because you just have to cut out any romantic-ish parts lol I'm simple minded!!!!!!

Well, the point, actually, was to make an amv that matched a theme, not a theme to match an amv, but the only way I have of fairly policing that people actually did that is to make sure they made it after the contest was posted. ^-^;; So yeah. Don't, unless you already had something.
oh, well, right now I'm watching them as they're added, but I'm not watching them seriously. ^-^ Just for fun. See what's happening on the entries scene, see what themes people are doing. ^-^ But I'm not grading them or anything. ^-^;;
Lol, OMG, I found the PERFECT song I want to use since it's so beautiful and fits Kanon perfectly. =D I just have to convert my AyuxYuuichi episodes and skim over them again. xP
But ugh, one theme? XD Which one should I choose? I have so many that would apply (about 15-20. O_O) So many choices but I think I have decided on my theme right now by listing them all down. xD
I almost forgot to add that the song is in Japanese. xD Should I include the English translation in the description when it's finished so you can understand what the song is about as you watch the AMV to see how it applies the theme?
I can even attempt to subtitle it and upload both a subtitled version and subless version if you wish. I personally like subs in foreign language AMVs I can't understand at first. Let's just hope my Japanese will be okay and I cut it off in the right places. xP

And the translation is very easy to get a hold of. ^^ I shall just upload two versions, one subbed and one RAW so you can watch both. And so I can make all my subbies happy with watching what they wish to. :P
What episode are you on? I've converted some of the Kanon eps, (They're raw and everything) and I could slap them on megaupload if that would be faster for you.

I think friendship, tributes, and fun vids are so easy because all you do is follow the song, but romance vids so much is left up in the air you have to infer all the details -.- but friendship vids are easy because you just have to cut out any romantic-ish parts lol I'm simple minded!!!!!!

Lol, OMG, I found the PERFECT song I want to use since it's so beautiful and fits Kanon perfectly. =D I just have to convert my AyuxYuuichi episodes and skim over them again. xP
But ugh, one theme? XD Which one should I choose? I have so many that would apply (about 15-20. O_O) So many choices but I think I have decided on my theme right now by listing them all down. xD

I almost forgot to add that the song is in Japanese. xD Should I include the English translation in the description when it's finished so you can understand what the song is about as you watch the AMV to see how it applies the theme?
I can even attempt to subtitle it and upload both a subtitled version and subless version if you wish. I personally like subs in foreign language AMVs I can't understand at first. Let's just hope my Japanese will be okay and I cut it off in the right places. xP

I think I shall add the subs since I like them in foreign language AMVs too. :P It just makes it more enjoyable since I can understand what it's saying. xD
And the translation is very easy to get a hold of. ^^ I shall just upload two versions, one subbed and one RAW so you can watch both. And so I can make all my subbies happy with watching what they wish to. :P

Lol, they take FOREVER to upload. xP Just like they take FOREVER to convert. ^^; My VK eppy was taking like 3 hours to convert so I was like "Screw that already. @_@" The Kanon ones take me about 40 minutes to convert since I'm on the net and stuff while it saves. xP If I don't use the net, it only takes like 20-25 minutes. ^^; But I need to use the net right now. xD

No, I didn't hear about that. O_o; But dang, still NO news on Ouran? T-T *Cries* They had the license for about a year now and they still haven't announced ANYTHING! It's beginning to make me an upset Funi fan... If they don't keep their 'promise' of releasing it this year, I'll be so upset... I mean, come on! Quit licensing stuff and focus on the projects you've been NEGLECTING thanks to One Piece.... Grr....
