  • love your mixer. hows it working for you ? good cross fader for scratching ? btw great faderless technique.

  • I would like to scratch with that piece you did there in the end. most do not know what is the music.

can you tell me the name of the singer and Masica?

  • really cool

  • what record are you using to scratch

  • @311teen101 superseal

  • 1.49 - 1.51 very good

  • i like it, nice job without crossfader.

  • whats this instrumental?? could you tell me? plz, i like it soooo much!

  • Maybe the camera just isn't good enough to pick up the movement. His hand could be moving pretty fast.

  • ?? its called a scribble..

  • lol you really have no clue do you

  • bro it aint fake.

He's did a 'scribble' scratch at that moment, and with the camera being as sht as it is and the particular speed of the scratch, the movent wasnt picked up very good simply for those two reasons. The speed of the scratch and the quality of the camera. later

  • damn you must suck with the crossfader hah

  • so go say that on qberts faderless video too. its different techniques

  • good stuff

  • nice vd

  • Needle dropping is ALOT easier when you use a skipless record, and extremely difficult when the sample is only in a single place on the record... you have to land the needle in exactly the right groove.

  • for thise asking, yes it is Superseal

  • Great!

  • what scratch sample is that??

    please reply

  • Thanks B. great channel

  • Nice Vid

  • hey, can someone tell me where i get that "Ahh Yea" from?? i want to have it for scratching too but i dont know where i find it.... thx

  • i have the same question. if anyone has the answer please reply to both of us :D

  • its the Dj Qbert super seal i think

  • Ya it's super seal

  • yeah man i have a copy i bought it used so i am not positive on the name but on the label it says "dirt style records," "Battle breaks" the the beat record i bought as well and it actually came with the original folder.. it says "Take One... Emergency breaks." but i am pretty sure that you can find it on many other sample records.. its pretty popular. Best of wishes bro... hope i helped your search.

  • The "AAh Yeah' sample is off the beginning of the song "Here we go" by Run DMC . Peace!

  • mc breed single - kickin' it

  • needle dropping is a lot harder than name dropping!

    Nice vid though.

    late

    one

  • nice!!!! i tried droping the needle but its hard...

  • that was dope..

    haha

  • Reeeeeally nice mate! Definately given me some inspiration here, i better get practising!!

  • rip it up !!

  • That is some seriously impressive scratching without using a fader.

  • Very nice. What is the scratch called that is done at 0:36 and again at 0:40. How is that done? I can't figure it out (I'm new to turntablism).

  • i guess its a faderless flare. i'm not sure on the names as i'm a house dj. i scratch by ear, i dont really learn certain ones by name.

  • really great, props!

  • thats sh1t hot dude, nice1. seen loads of dj,s (pro & amature) but not seen that done as good b4. just starting out myself ( left it bit late am 31 ) keep tutorials coming LUVIN THEM

Thanks for sharing your knowledge to

  • exelent mate,loved it,and i think the mixer is a rane empath

  • excellent tips and execution. it's not about the gear, it's about the techniques!

  • Thats a nice routine!! good ideas too!!

  • very nice!! i like that mixer...

  • nice

  • Nice mate..

im more in the House :D

electro House and Deep house... ;)

    were ya from mate?

  • i'm also a house dj, this is just something i do for fun. i dont pretend to be a scratch dj by any stretch but it's something i enjoy doing and the basics i know seem to help beginner scratchers to learn.

  • oh and i'm from Coventry UK

  • what a fake

at 0:48 he do nothing and the scratch goes on

    Hate fakers

  • @flexx73 i'm guessing you dont know what you're talking about, his hand is moving fast, its visible but camera frame rate isnt very good on web cams, the scribble is done by hold your hand still and vibrating it.

  • @flexx73

He IS scratching. It's called a scribble. The reason it doesn't look like he's doing anything is because it's the tip of the fingers and not his whole hand that is doing the work.

  • very nice man.. good tutorial:)
