  • Jazzharmonica-Sophisticated Lady (with Filip Jers Quartet)

It is a romantic jazz harmonica.

    It is my favorite.

  • Hey Flip- Very very nice. I just ran across your stuff recently and have been really enjoying your sound. Keep up the great work. Sandy W.

  • Very nice Filip!

  • Gorgeous playing on an amazing tune.

  • Hi Flip,

You are doing a great job on Chromatic. Would like to communicate with your more...Drop me a line.

  • That's great because when I started playing chrom about a year ago another excellent harmonica player told me it takes 10 years to become "good." At 57, I don't know if I can wait that long, and apparently - as in many other endeavors - a lot depends on the individual's innate ability, motivation, practice time, etc. Your answer matches what I've read about Brendan Power, i.e. that after 3 years of learning, he decided to make the harmonica his life. Conclusion: 3 or 4 years can be enough.

  • Beautiful! How long did it take you to reach this high level?

  • i have played diatonic harmonica for 9 years, and chromatic harp for maybe 4 years..

  • very good

    greetings

    Jose

  • Excellent. I do enjoy your jazz interpretation of this song. Very skilled

    sample of chromatic playing.

    Greetings,

    Dave

  • knew this one already, however I'd really appreciate some more diatonic playing...great job anyways Filip!

Let's see if I went into Jazz we'd compare... your chromatic playing is flawlessssssss ;-)

  • Thanks :) I would look in the stock and see if I find some diatonicclips ;)

  • I like chromatic harmonica's sound. But I prefer diatonic. In spite of that, I must say your music is very nice, filled of soul, your soul I think.

Oh, about chromatics.. Do you know Hugo Díaz? You must listen to him.

  • Thanks! I know a bit about Diaz, i have never heard more than one song. But that was really expressive, I felt his spririt direct. Any tips where I can get a CD ?

  • hello this is out of this world well done my friend 5000 stars

  • well played my friend sounds very sentimental regards

  • thank you!
