come on guys, calm down and have a conversation ok? xNIPPOx said there are better headphones out there, that is true. for a 300 dollars headphone, you would expect it to be audiophile grade instead of just funsounding and have a lot of bass right? well dre beats however is dr dres headphones, so instead of making it like a studio headphone, it is made to be bassy for dr dres songs which are hip hop/ gangsa rap. of course having a lot of bass for those kind of songs will be appealing...

@jonathanyng The thing is, all that bass kills the mids and highs, and the bass itself is quite muddy. I'm sure the engineers who mixed his stuff (even him himself when he does it) wouldn't really appreciate you not being able to hear all that time and effort they put into their music. Those studios are full of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment to produce the best sounding music and they layer in many subtleties, with these things most of that is lost.

Solo beats : For iphones,Ipods&Ipads also they block out ANY sound if you have the volume opn about 20Percent up so im sorry but beats are definetly worth the 175 pounds my mom paid .
