YES, Finally Dave Jackson comes to YT. I saw this guy (he was 18yo) in Fresno, CA murder the worst sounding organ ever (dilapidated Hammond RT-3 through a half working Hammond JR-20). From then on he's been #1 to me. When he plays he really doesn't need a Leslie to enhance the sound, at all.
I've met David twice, & he genuinely seems to be a humble level headed guy. Even w/his great gift & resume, he remains a cool dude. I know organist's with 1/3 the gifting,& even less in the way of accomplishment,who walk into a church like they own the place,& would snub Jesus if he didn't have the right style. No matter the level of gifting, it all comes from God. This truth alone should keep us all humble,because just as sure as the Lord gave it,he can take it away,& in many cases,He has.
