This is what I need, except I want to record to something other than a VCR or DVD which are so obsolete. Can I record directly to some sort of memory drive, computer, or other device but still be able to watch it on tv as it's recording, anyone?
nice set up for basic! if you ever want to move up to the big and better check out my videos, I use the same thing government building, schools, airports and prisons use!
the only issue is the six hr. tape im not gona record mutch im just to lazy. Im gona look into a cheap dvr. if i find a super cheap one il hit ya back
Nice video. Just bought a harbor Freight 4 camera dvr system for $150 . Using my computer for the monitor. Can remote access from any computer and my I phone app. Good value . Harbor Rocks.

use polarized filter or window tint over the lens if it doesnt have the screws on the lens

I looked at the HF camera, and it looks like it has a LAN line connection on the end of it....so how does it interface with your TV??
