Press L2 and R2 at the same time when any of your team members are at low health, if not, then use it anytime if you have the enchantment on your weapon to do so.

Hey, I've tried it, but it deleted my base weapon. And I can't use it. Have I done something wrong?

1. When you want to make an enchantment, you need a weapon with the elements it requires. 2. You have to go to the make weapon menu and select the bottom option, select the enchantment, attach it to the weapon you want to enchant, and confirm your choice.

I haven't even played the game yet and I know all of this. Hooray for Gamefaqs :P

There are no X/Gaiden chapters in Maou Sairin. All characters (with the exception of one) are unlocked during regular playthrough of Story Mode.

Ah, I had the ability on Nu Wa's weapon. Otherwise, I think the active character's health has to be in the red and then you hit L2 and R2 together at the same time to trigger it. I also read that it only works with specific teams? Not sure on that.

the specific teams just have some cool effects, the non specific just have the character singly hitting the enemy

Da Ji's 3rd costume is so cool! She actually looks human! I just find her hair style very weird... Is she any easier to control in this game?

I have to pop Musou Orochi back into the PS2 and use her again to compare. She SEEMS easier to control in this one but that might be because I've used her so much in the previous game. XD
