mate i tell you something the best way to fix it is sell it to your worst friend...like i did with mine...now im using samsung galaxy s and it is the best phone ever...it so great that i have no words to explane it...anyway getting back to the case...did you try to format it as discribed in the video?if u did and it still not working then ur keyboars has some internal problem on it self...let me know what procedimen have u used ok...thanks

don't listen to jtdc86 he's just a nub, the real problem that ur facing is that you probably have brought your phone to some repairshop and they installed the wrong firmware country version(UK probably). I have created the same problem and am just to lazy to fix it. You need nemesis service suite to change your product code to your country version. You'l also need navifirm to obtain the right product code. Do at own risk(completely safe to me) & google is your homi.

my n97 is having this really weird screen error

the screen rarely shows up now.. only having a black screen and sometimes it shows the screen in freeze mode for 10 seconds and goes white and then black again.. can't do anything .. anyone has an idea what I should do?

it will fix your phone with no doubt just save all informations that u dont want to loose from your phone memory..about the mass storage you wont loose anything so u dont need to make a back up

I used the method you showed in the video and here what happened.

the phone was fully reset to the factory setting + everything in the phone memory was deleted incloding the installed apps.

while things in the mass memory not deleted also including the apps in that memory.

but here is the best thing.

the formatting did solve the lagging problems I had.

b4 I wasn't able to open the music player and the photo gallery.

but now the phone works great =D
