And yesss Nick Bartzen is gorgeous. He kind reminds me of Darren Criss from "Glee".

Nick Bartzen is gorgeous, and this film was filmed in Orange County, CA. I would guess specifically in Costa Mesa/Huntington Beach areas. In one of the clips Justin Bo is driving down PCH to Laguna Beach.

With a name like Justin Lo, I assume that he's at least part Chinese. Lo is probably only partially Asian because he has wavy hair, and Asian hair is straight. He's also the writer and director of the movie.
