I have seen several products using chips manufactured into playing cards. While they do work, they ahve probelms. I will be happy to share with you the pros and cons for each product. @travz21 - Reality is that sunglasses prevent people from reading "tells". That is why people even wear sunglasses in the World Series of Poker. Even if sunglasses were no longer allowed. Contact lenses may be used. So, banning sunglasses will not do any good.

Sunglasses are not the only tell.....for example, if they are using Juice or contact lenses...then you would not know the cards were marked.

hmm very interesting...im just gonna taking a stab at the scientific principles involved in this. If im right the ultra luminous marker reflect a wavelength of light that is invisible to the human eye and the filter shifts this invisible wavelength into visible wavelength. I hope this is right :) plz let me know if i am

I hope you understand that I would never talk about the scientfic principal behnd ultra-luminous. However, since all things us human being see are based upon wavelengths, then I would ave to say that you are correct.

All color we see are wavelengths and wavelengths which are invisible to us humans are microwaves, X-Rays, Gama rays, UV rayes, Infrared rays, radio waves, etc. However, as you probably know, trying to make invisible wavelengths visible can be a complex and expensive process.

Yes, the marks are invisible unless you are wearing specially filtered sunglasses or contact lenses.
