  • You know it's interesting how the most realistic shows never last more than 6 or so years.

  • AGREED..JACK ARNOLD WAS THE BEST SO WASNT NORA FOR 70 ERA LIKE TOM BOSLEY AND MARION ROSS IN HAPPY DAYS FOR THE 60'S

  • This scene loses something without the full episode. It broke my heart! I used to HATE Winnie Cooper for being such a melodramatic tease! I'm 30 now so I got over it. Haha

  • This was the Father that Jack Arnold really was. A treasure.

  • Jack Arnold - The toughest/sweetest son of a bitch on television.

That's what made him a true and believable encapsulation of the human heart.

  • I remember this episode...

One of the best endings if you ask me

  • I love this show!

  • I was born in 89 but I watch this on HUB all the time ...great show

  • It sucks that we no longer have shows like this on TV any longer. You'd never get something that heartfelt or genuine today.

  • @cdzmo1972 I am so happy to read your statement.. feels like reading "you are not alone" :)

  • This scene is breaking somehow my heart. I never had a dad, never had the chance to talk to him like that. He is now dead.

  • @chris3116

    me too.

    i feel your pain

  • @chris3116 I dont knw where u are from- who or how old u are, bt its something uve said that has instantly connected me to you.. I feel sorry you. Take Care.

  • heres a real dad. not mike brady, or danny tanner.

  • does somedy knows the name of song that is playing on back?

  • This scene always breaks my heart!

  • My favorite scene. Jack Arnold wasn't such a one-dimensional character afterall :-)

  • One of those few scenes his Dad really let his guard down and really took in his son for a moment I like this moment and when he takes Kevin to the basketball game and Kevin yells at his dad and his dad looks genuinely heartbroken and then they make up at end

  • Jack Arnold was the best television dad ever.

  • @UnitedWeStand90 Agreed.

  • @UnitedWeStand90 TOTALLY AGREE!!! He was loving, but yet could scare the shit out of you w/ his grunt!:) One of my favorite shows of all time!!!

  • Anyone know which episode this was?
