This scene loses something without the full episode. It broke my heart! I used to HATE Winnie Cooper for being such a melodramatic tease! I'm 30 now so I got over it. Haha
@chris3116 I dont knw where u are from- who or how old u are, bt its something uve said that has instantly connected me to you.. I feel sorry you. Take Care.
One of those few scenes his Dad really let his guard down and really took in his son for a moment I like this moment and when he takes Kevin to the basketball game and Kevin yells at his dad and his dad looks genuinely heartbroken and then they make up at end
You know it's interesting how the most realistic shows never last more than 6 or so years.

This was the Father that Jack Arnold really was. A treasure.

Jack Arnold - The toughest/sweetest son of a bitch on television.
That's what made him a true and believable encapsulation of the human heart.

It sucks that we no longer have shows like this on TV any longer. You'd never get something that heartfelt or genuine today.

This scene is breaking somehow my heart. I never had a dad, never had the chance to talk to him like that. He is now dead.
