  • You 24ct plonker

  • what happened to them on the coming up episodes? did they loose all those wealth?

  • @xiaorongcheng

They lost it by investing in a stock market that eventually crashed.

  • hats off what a wonderful sitcom

dedicate to all the plonkers, woolies n gits

  • great episode : )

  • for some reason i cant stop watching this

  • for me the episodes in the 21st century never happened....this is where it ended.

    trotters independent traders........are cease trading......bonjour!

  • Buster Merryfield what an absolute god!!! R.I.P Albert

  • Mange tout! Mange tout!

  • Who disliked this video...what a couple of 24 carat plonkers.

  • Don't invest, your only just millionaires.

  • this time next year we can be billionaires

  • When they were poor their friends were genuine, and they were more humble. Money can change people.

  • @mullajami So true! you start getting people liking you for your money and not for you, etc

  • The flat looks lonely without the Trotter's inside and without the furniture. Also there is too much nostalgia about the flat. It was good they got bankrupt after because later they receive Uncle Albert's will and receive a good sum but still stay in the flat.

  • Can someone help me by telling me which song was being played as the enterd the nags head and at the end before the credits? :)

  • One of my favourite episodes by far, had me laughing so hard at times. Would have been the perfect end, it's a shame nobody else from my generation really bothers to watch this. It's a true comedy.

  • this should of been the last one....it wernt the same after

  • they shudnt have made them bankrupt but they should of ended it on the episode where joan trotter is born

  • @jordanfuller10 They did.

  • i have to disagree and say that the next three wrapped things up,rodney finally having a child of his own,del losing all the money then getting the chance to win the money back is classic 'trotters luck'.life isn t a fairytale that's why this worked so well, just when you thought del's luck has changed something crops up! albert being layed to rest, roday finding out his dad is freddy the frog,so much j sulivan had to tie up in the end! number one comedy of all time by far.....u no it makes sense

  • The BBC just got too greedy and brought it back even when they found a perfect ending....MONEY EH? ;)

  • should had left it there a great ending to a great comedy !!!!!!!!

  • 4:30 - Albert's last laugh

  • The perfect ending to the best comedy TV series of all time. It will NEVER be beaten.

  • The last 3 eps wasn't all that bad

    I don't see the problem?

  • @theshakter

    Damien ruined them

  • @jimmyb316 Okay but that's only one person??

  • "Can you hear me over those trousers?"

  • and he hung onto the lillte van.. that be me with my little corolla rumble mobile

  • sheer brilliance.. love del boy... rip john sullivan

  • This episode makes me almost cry at about 3 different points; a mix of painful and great happiness :)

  • At 8:45, it would have been better if they'd left out the episode title 'Time on our Hands'. It should simply read 'ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES', because this is not just the denouement of the episode, but of the entire fifteen-year series. Roll credits, the end.

  • I love how the van is the closest to the house, I'd be like that with my mini if I won the lottery, sod the posh cars :)

  • I miss only fools and horses and I love buster merry field r.I.p buster

  • This has to be one of the saddest scenes ever. "Trotters independent traders, has ceased trading.." :(

  • I never bothered watching the last ones and never will, this is where it ended for me and it still makes me shed a tear as i grin from ear to ear.

  • The perfect end, was stupid to bring it back, the three specials after this ruined it!

  • derek! can you hear me over those trousers?! hahahaha

  • BONJOUR

  • defo the third best episode they done

  • its a shame there are no more actors like david jason thesedays

  • i sooo remember watching this when it was first shown at the age of 4 years old siting and watching this with my dad(RIP dad)i am sooo glad he got my into this programe

  • bonjour roflmfao

  • It's true, money can't buy happiness.

Rather have a normal interesting life, than boring rich life

  • aw bless him when he said 'we can double our money' his eyes lit up :( like a little kid he was :(

  • @941geminigirl Del, can you hear me over those trousers?

  • Del forgot his suitcase. He must have said "BONJOUR" to it!!

  • rip john sullivan

  • John Sullivan: We'll never the likes of him again. The king of both comedy and drama. He's an inspiration to me. I love to write and I often make sure I have the correct balance of comedy and drama.

  • Even though three more were made, this is the true last episode as far as I'm concerned.

  • TROTTERS INDEPENDENT TRADERS HAS CEASED TRADING.... BONJOUR!. RIP JOHN SULLIVAN! X

  • John Sullivan...Thanks for all the laughs...genius...R.I.P.

  • BRILLIANT series!!! One of the best British series ever made!

As Del Boy sometimes has said 'makes you feel proud to be British'. I do agree!

    Cheers Dean!

  • WHERE DOS THE LAUGHTER IN THE BACKGROUND COME FROM COS IT'S A TV SHOW NOT A THEATRE PLAY

  • @DAJAZDJ1 The majority of the show is done infront of a live studio audience, some of it is pre-filmed

  • what was the episode after this

  • @DAJAZDJ1 If they could see us now. Made 3 or 4 more I think

  • @guitar999able DO U KNOW WHERE THE LAUGHTER IN THE BACKGROUND COME FROM COS IT'S BEEN PUZZLING ME FOR A LONG LONG TIME

  • @DAJAZDJ1 Most shows like this have a laughter machine, unless they are done in front of a live audience...which most of them do now

  • @DAJAZDJ1 well i think some of only fools was like a stage performance then other bits were like a cinima. also i think all the bits on screen like them in the market n running the streets with the huge brief case were on a screen for the audience

  • from witch series is this episode?

  • @salecarify gary

  • theys hould have ended it here yes..but after this they did do one classic episode..the 'gary' episode :D that was pretty awesome

  • this episode makes me sad :(

i still would love to see one more episode... just one

  • -We're flying first class? -Concorde :D

  • "No mention of what they've invested, only what they spent? Here today, gone tomorrow!"

  • best ever...

  • Thanks for posting! My best episode ever!

  • Thanks, Dean

  • and yet you spoke to Millwall to win the Cup

  • For me, in my mind, this is the final episode. A perfect ending. I do like the new rock and chips episodes though. Even though they are more drama than comedy.

  • Comment removed

  • I loved this ending. Following on from the point that AYRAYR1 made, I think the final episode, Sleepless in Peckham, had just as much meaning as this episode. The Trotters finally becoming millionaires was perfect, but carrying on the issue of Rodney and Cassandra just had to be done. They gained some of their fortune back and seemed to fit right back in at home at Nelson Mandela House.

  • the reason i think they made them poor again was just like del said he missed the ducking and diving and i can relate to that that little bit of danger makes you feel alive must just be something primal in humans that survival instinct LONG LIVE HOOKEY STREET

  • whats the song in the end where they walk f into the sunset thanx.

  • True, it is a great show but for me Fawlty Towers will always be in a league of its own.

  • This time next year, eh.... this time next year.

  • I don't know if you can hear me over Del's trousers but this is the greatest TV show ever. There has never been a TV show that has made me cry laughing and cry with sadness in the same episode. I can't even count the times that this programme has amazed me with the writing

  • So well written... to me... this is where it ends.

  • The End, thanks dean once again.

  • Well im glad someone like John Sullivan made brilliant shows not just Only Fools and Horses but Porridge and many more.

  • the opening song and ending song sung by the guy who wrote the show

  • wud hav beeen a nice finish...but hw cud they carry it on as they rich wudnt be the same

  • could of been the best ending ever

  • i had such a tear in my eye!

  • ya hu know

  • But weren't they millionaires before with the Peckham Spring?

  • Brilliant

  • whats the name of the song in the background at the end when they go off into the sun set ????? nead it asap plzzz thanks x

  • this shudda been the end. i don't have a problem with the prequels as that was great, i hear that john sullivan has written 6 episodes as more for the prequel, but this shudda been the end. it made only fools turn into the green green grass

  • Yeah. i think it was stupid how they lost the money.

  • @stevewhu but if u think about it its typical del boy luck. manages to cock everyting up lol would have made sense to end here but im just glad they squeezed a few more episodes in before they did end it

  • @stevewhu sort of stupid how they got the money. they should never have been rich

  • yep, this should have been it... "this time next year, we could be Billionaires" THE END

  • @mattjr73tube no way should it have ended here...rodney needed to have a child and the issue with them not being full brothers was brilliantly done..

  • @mattjr73tube The last three specials that followed after this were alright in a way, but not as good, especially when Buster Merryfield passed away in 1999. It wasn't the same or as funny.

  • It should have ended here. Why did they have to carry it on? This was the perfect end.

  • @DomWeasel

    Uhuh.

  • @DomWeasel Because of the one thing that ruins everything: Money. (and the making of).

  • @DomWeasel well for me this is where only fools and horses finished, i pretend that the ones from the last decade didnt happen.

and i think quite a few fans would agree.

it wsnt the same without albert and micheal.

  • @DomWeasel because there was a demand for more christmas specials at the time and sleepless in peckham works well also as the final episode which it was

  • @DomWeasel Too many chief...Often the BBC get it right and then feel the need to go back change it

  • @DomWeasel

as much as I agree 100% the demand was so high for more bbc gave in

  • @DomWeasel I heard an interview with John Challis (Boycie) and he said they should have had those extra episodes because it was right to see Del lose the money again. He talked about how it wasn't in Del's nature to lay around with the perfect life (and this is highlighted at the end of this episode) and seeing Del lose the money brought his journey full circle.

  • @DomWeasel But The BBC Are Dicks, Even the Wrighters Thought The Same As Yourself, But Its About Profit. Ironicly Same As Del And Rodney

  • the best tv show ever
