Oh thank you for your video! Seeing the 2 of them together was like seeing a younger and older version of my sweet Bozi! I found my baby in Taiwan as an abandoned street puppy and brought her home to Canada (no quarantine!). I adore her ~ she is my Fur baby!! She will be 9 in May.

I have a 14 month male schipperke and I love the pup to death but we cannot seem to housetrain him. Did you have the same problem? We want soo badly to have him around the house with us but he pees everwhere! Like every 40 minutes. The vet said he doesn't have any physical probs. It kills me that he can't be around the house- it's either on a leash or in a playpen. Any tips to help?

I too have a 9 month old schipperke who has a house training problem. I use a kennel for a time out and clean up after her. Sometimes she'll go a whole day without going in the house, then the next she does it again. I love her dearly and hopes that she'll outgrow it eventually.

I think they are just stubburn and do what they want.

Get her some wee wee pads and put them by the door. You need to get her to only go by the door, then you can teach her to ring a bell to be let out (assuming your yard is fenced). Little dogs don't have great bladder control when they are young....and she could also be submissively urinating as well (it's a way of letting you know that you're the boss). It may not be stubborness--keep working at it, and clean up the wee with vinegar straight away so she doesn't sniff and reoffend. Good luck!

Very cute.Schipperkes are the most beautiful creatures,so much personality in them,Seeing this really makes me miss my Schipperke Yogi who passed away a few weeks ago at the young age of 6 months :( .

No Fights, My older dog just did not want anything to do with the new puppy. She stayed as faraway as she could most of the time. It was a few months before she started to let him (on her own) be close too her.

I got Blackdog (she has a registered name but it doesn't matter what you call her, she won't come)about a year after my divorce. My ex-husband (Satan) and I had joint custody of an old Boston Ter When Blackdog grew up she began to fight her when she was with me.I had to break up some ugly fights. Do you really think this little blach holy terror of a dog would accept having another baby?

Love this ! Fabulous ! 2 of our 3 dogs were Schip brothers, but lost one to cancer last year. Lordy, we are still morning his passing. They are like no other dog on earth.
