@cekinxxx I would say around 240-320 somewhere around there. The rush also has grooves so it doesnt clog up as fast as regular sandpaper and you can just blow on it or rub it on your pants to clean it out. Pretty cool stuff!
@LumocolorARTnr1319 The cougar study was a fascinating journey! I never reported the find to anyone. I have many reasons to conclude it was a native burial because of a lot of surrounding evidence. I have chosen to not report anything because there have been numerous cases of a native site being reported and then it magically gets dug up and everything disappears and no one knows what happened. The other thing is the area gets shut down and no one can ever go in there again. In a few years..
for sure send them the video. you had no idea it was human till you reached down and the molor fell out. you did the right thing by not touching it any further. the bones look white to me which indicates its no more than 10 years old. most of the ancient bones i have seen are black or dark brown. this body could have been an old missing persons caser. i would pursue it with the police to make sure the investigation was actually completed. you wouldnt want some poor persons grandmother missing
Hi Dan, well done, just in Time : ) I am amazed about the skills you know! Heavy with the skeleton..., My wife would not believe I found a dead body ; ) and I hope I never find one! Regards Sepp
@Waldhandwerk If it was, I would probably be their first suspect. So if you dont hear from me, I might be in jail. lol Mabey they will let me videotape my life in jail. just kidding :)
Hey I made a bow from hickory it started out 70 @ 27 Then I reduced it to 25 @ 28 because I wanted a bow I could shoot all day and hunt rabbits or squirrels if i want
@jacksoncole79 sweet! Why not?! It doesnt take a 70 to take out a rabbit. Wait.... did you reduce it on purpose? or was it a "one scrape too many" type deal? heh, heh
I had also wondered how the made the cut to insert the arrow and i had assumed that had a piece of flint with serrations. Your idea is logical. Thanks brother. Joe Garza
@EDINBURGSTAR I have tried with a stone saw but with ocean spray, it is extreemly hard once dry and If you cut the notch when it is still green, i'll guarentee the ocean spray will split when it dries. Softer woods might be easier to work with and you could use a stone saw to cut it. Ive just been trying to conquer this beast called ocean spray. Pretty fun. Thanks, Dan
i just send them the pic, and a google map to wher it is, and they mail me back and say they gonna contact me if the like to have more information, and i have not hear from them after that, and the bone if gonne, its not a old cemetery ther so maybe some one die ther or have been murder, who knows, so i think its best to let the polis do ther job,
OMG!!! You found D.B. Cooper! Look around for the money!! ha ha
