Just an update. I have now passed 4600km and my wife has passed 1000km and the bike has been absolutely lovely. Just plug, and drive.us all the shopping centers let us charge while we are parked. We even found a coffee shop up the top of Mt Stromlo that lets us charge up too.
The bikes are all TORQUE! Not to be confused with Horse power. You notice no change in engine noise driving from flat ground to a steep hill, the bike just seems to "glide" up the hill without effort!
I only paid $5500 earlier this year (ling story) but it is now worth $7400. I now have over 1700km and absolutely love it. I filled the car up the other day for $96 and got 410km. Ouch!
Ha! Good call. Saw your posts on another forum.. looks like you have a fairly good understanding of the engineering. Would it be OK for someone without any electrical training??
Very cool indeed. Is the Erider 8000W expensive? I remember seeing another electric scooter some years ago (a maxi I think) but it retailed at about $17K. Ouch.
Check out my new video with my video sunglasses.

Hi Dave. My wife has no technical knowledge and she just rides and charges it. She's not interested in any mods.

Firmware is upgradable by USB. No, the batteries are a 'tad' bigger than a AA. LOL
Equivalent to about 2400 AA batteries. Not sure they could handle the current with their internal resistance though :-)

Does it take AA batteries too? Is the firmware upgradable? Is it available with really chunky tires?
