  • ah, the days where CGI was worse than stop motion

  • To War.

  • the omnisiah=super santa!

  • WOW! How lame! and I like warhammer.

  • Warlord

  • what type of tian is it?

  • @TheAngelOfDeath9 warlord battle titan.

  • put some WD40 on those joints!

  • 0:17......INDEED...

  • These are so damn cheesy I LOVE IT!

  • why have i never before heard of this game? does this game work on a modern computer? where can i download a demo

  • It's called Final Liberation: epic 40,000, a PC strategy thing from 1995 (small sprites and bright colors, considered pretty high-tech back then). Yes it can be downloaded and will, with a lot of messing about, work on modern PC's but your best bet is to get hold of an old one in good order with Windows '95 on it (cheap on eBay now; a laptop of that vintage, say a Toshiba, is best if you're short on room) and an original copy of the game. Still fairly good to play even without the cool vids!

  • Can anyone tell me why it's possible to "End Turn" a million times and get unlimited resources at pretty much any point in the campaign? :c

  • Want to see them put an Emperor Class Titan into one of these =P

  • Comment removed

  • That Titan sounds terrible oily. Also what kind of Mechanicus Tech Priest walks around with no visible metal bits? For shame, he should at LEAST have a bionic eye or a beard made of metal tentacles or something moar GRIMDARK. Still, can't blame them for a limited budget.

  • @SinDawg030

We only saw his head, everything else was covered. =P

  • I stil play this game. The constant voice saying 'commissar' whenever I click a unit annoys me...

  • Dude, a Warlord class titan. i'm impressed. I assume that would not be the only Titan class allowed in the game?

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93

well i think final liberation had reavers too but they didnt do so well

  • @MordeKeiser Not even that. A wannabe scout marine more like. *Crreeaaakk, clunk, smash*

  • lol it needs oil!

  • That is the shitest titan ive ever seen

  • "Tears of beauty..."

    *weird stare*

  • Maaaaaaaan that is some poxy acting.

  • Its clearly a warlord, but the scale is way off. A warlord the size of a warhound, that commisar should execute the prop designer of this.

  • Did I just see a Comissar STEPPING BACK ??

  • @kerstmanneke82 In the name of the Emperor, your're right.. That is UNACCEPTABLE!! I vote exterminatus on that Commisar's family (and pets).

  • @kerstmanneke82 - well lets see... commisar+ reaver titan = Smoosh on the ground (aka commisar)

  • @kerstmanneke82

when youre the size of a bug you kinda wanna step back a bit

  • Clearly a warlord Titan old style but not beetle back, you can tell by 2 carapace weapons and 2 arm weapons and it looks small because scale back then as is still now not well... clear, also the perspective isn't great.

  • it is not a scout titan thats what the warhound titan is for thats an artillery titan that i can't remember the name for and the reaver is the assault titan but the emperor titans the biggest of them all

  • Why do the imperium need scout titans?

They may as well be using a baneblade.

  • that tech priest came in his pants when he saw the titan

  • A bit small don't you think? Must be a scout Titan. X-/

  • I WANT A WARHAMMER 40K MOVIE!!!

  • @LordAndrei007 there is a 40k movie out go to the website and u can find it titled ultramarines

  • @nerd7820

with only 5 minutes of fighting.

    Kinda sad movie really.

  • what you don't see is that, that tech-priest was all machine underneath that robe he the only organic part left is his head

  • needs a little oil ...

  • a mechanickus dickus

  • that...is....not...a....titan....looks like an imperial guard mecha walkr

  • That is an adeptus machanicus? He is fully human! for shame...

still...awsome that they used real actors for it ^^

  • You know, this cutscene wasn't all that bad, really.

  • Lol. Give the game a break, it's 13 years old!

Tbh, I loved how they actually used actors for these cut scenes. The Commissar was the same height as the Space Marine. ^^

  • Where is that tech-adept's respirator unit?

  • WTF? Why i cant find any ingame scenes of this game here? I never heard of it before, and i play 40k since over 10 Years. xD Shame about me, but i have to see how it was ingame...^^

  • The guy playing the priest also did the voice for Ceridan from Shadow of the horned rat.

  • to the reaver titan, the humans look like bowling pins. to an imperator, the reaver looks like a bowling pin.

  • lets take a little walk... of UTTER DESTRUCTION!!!! *mad laughter*

    i loved this game

  • They should have it fight againest a supreme commander 2 king kriptor or universal collosus :D

  • warlords are truly impressive.

  • argh this looks like one of those cheesey endings from red alert 1

  • Guys going on about Warlords, just go full-scale and get an Imperator! Jeez, Imperator you don't need feet, you got the power of an orbital strike in a big walky thing that can destroy cities! :D

  • @iTzLupine sorry about that i forgot

  • WHat is this?It looks like a cheap parody of warhammer 40k

  • @XAzureAngelX Its a game called final liberation, a Games Workshop-endorsed PC game that was made in the 90's.

  • the commisar is obviously shitting himself

  • @GRAFFDEMON

    who wouldn't?

  • LOL! the nazi like guy sounds like Patrick Stewert mix in with Liam Neeson!! and the Jdi like guy sounds like Ewan Mgregor's voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi!!

In fact it sounds like Star Wars!

  • @vol009S

the nazi guy is a Commissar, like those from the U.S.S.R...

  • I miss this game :D

  • @Geistxxxx yeah me to

  • That guy in the cloak kept reminding me of a Jedi, the way he stands, speaks, words, and how he folds his hands together... Lol...

  • id rather hav a warmonger titan

  • lol, the guy goes "it is beautiful" and the commissar just looks at him with a face that screams "wtf? what you smokin'?"

  • Pfft Isnt this a Warhound Titan? I wanna see an Emperor Class Titan Awoken.

  • @Yupyuk You are not prepared! :P

  • @Emrod82 Ive seen em before there amazing still think if THQ made a Titan legion game .

U fight as a titan or alongside one in the Horus Heresy

  • WTF IS THIS

  • @AngryNewYorker2 no man, Thule would win it!

  • they could have done the titan better. i wonder why it got a giant chainsword on the left arm it can´t reach the units on the ground, if it try it will tip over an crush but its nice some one made a movie with warhammer.

  • @frederiksd

Its mainly for fighting other titans and for opening up ships etc. alot of the chaos titans had them as well

  • @frederiksd

The warhammer world is very bizarre. Understand that they have chainsaw swords and axes to fight in melee and in this world it is effective. As said, it's to fight other tightens because, even though there are guns, melee fighting in the WH40K is still viable due to daemonic powers, psychic abilities, superb armors, ecetera. . though the weapons are no less potent.

  • @frederiksd That's pretty ignorant. You could have at least read the description, and maybe worked out that its for titan combat.

  • HOLY S*** that tech adept is wayne rooney lol

  • @RiOtzxShAdOw LMFAO made my night

  • Warhound Titan vs Death Star >:)

  • Epic Commissar Holt is Epic40k.

  • oh alrite then weldonwin... mabey i was exajurating... but its still flippin huge... and DEADLY

  • Its Beautifull

  • *Cought*Railgun*Cought*

  • @ChukN0rris cough void shields cough

  • @Potatonaught Argh you got me!

  • the titan is much bigger than that.

  • lol jamohanleva...warlord titan (1km tall) weigh about 1000 tons vs starwars AT-AT...the titan can just stand on the 50 foot tall AT-AT and squash it

  • @generalj02

All i can say is Wazdakka Gutsmek. He became so obsessed with destroying Titans, that he built a bike and attached to it a Dakkacannon.

  • @generalj02 Actually a Warlord Titan is only 100 foot tall. That said, a Warlord Titan does enjoy a considerable advantage in raw firepower

  • “They were shaped like armored men, and they trudged like men, but they were giants, each one hundred and forty meters tall” - Horus Rising, page 18

    140 meters = 459 feet

  • I'd love to drive that to work. Though I think it may be a little slower than my truck. I'd just leave a little sooner.

  • Green*

  • Greed screen -_-"

  • Behold! THE POWER OF THE VOID DRAGON!

  • That's a pretty pimped out Cadillac.

  • sounds like it could use some oil...

  • And I thought GUNHED was bad!!

  • 1:16 you call that a titan!?. It looks more like a wannabe Dreadnought

  • @MordeKeiser Umm, it's called perspective lol

Pause at 1:07 for more information. Those two on the left are the actors. That one on the right is a toe.

  • @MordeKeiser Evrything from the imperial guard looks like a wana be space marines XD

  • @MordeKeiser

    Its a scout titan

  • @MordeKeiser

It looks more like a marouder from Starship Troopers in my opinion...

what if that was the work of chaos and now the federation in Starship Troopers has a...

    ... o shit D:

  • @MordeKeiser for fucks sake, of course it's a titan, of the legendary emperor class, this beast of a machine is in the imperator sub class, which was the same design as the dies irea, suited for close combat, while the warmonger was designed for bombardment

  • @wolfiuz1

this was just a warlord,...the dies irae is easy twice that height

    htt

    p://images.wikia.com/warhammer40k/images/1/16/Godengines.jpg

  • they rly changed that titan by dark cruesade

  • giant chainsword FTW

  • needs a bit of WD40 :P

  • It's not a medal, it's Purity Seal. :)

  • I never understood why in these table top games, forces like The Space Marines from WH4k or the Coalition from Rifts use a death's head motiff when they are battling aliens. Since their insygnia means death to humans, how would that inspire fear in their enemies?

  • @Nagneto humans fightt humans too, Heritics, traitors etc. but i do see your point.

  • @Nagneto

The skull motif probably inspires fear across a lot of races in the WH40K universe, because the Nightbringer (one of the C'tan, the Necrons' masters) instilled the fear of death into every race except the Orks. The Nightbringer has a Grim Reaper motif, and most of the races native to the 40K galaxy are humanoid, so the death's head is probably more universal than one might expect.

  • Well in Warhammer and Warhammer 40k, the Empire and the Imperium both use the Skull as their insignia. The Empire believes that your soul is inside your skull, because your head is the command center of your body. The Imperium in WH40K is pretty similar to the Empire, so I'm assuming they share that belief.

  • @Nagneto *Presses the 'Independent Thought' alarm*

  • Warhammer 40k had an FMV game? Somebody go tell the Spoony One!

  • zomg no turbo lazzzza??

  • Almost any ship in the Imperium can carry out an Exterminatus. Imperium firepower is typically measured in the teratons/petatons. Enough to wipe out all life on a planet.

  • "Warlord" CLASS titan. Emperor titans are also known as Imperator class titans

  • the emperor fiinds heresy in such poor portrayal of the warhammer universe

  • Titan of the Emperor-Class

  • man i would love to drive(or walk) to work in one of those....

  • that looks like a dread lol

  • Titan VS Infantery = Dont make me laugh, no ammo required (why fire when you got feet?)

Titan VS Tanks = Unless its a Titan hunter, *yawn*

Titan VS Titan = Now we're talkin'!

  • Bah, I remember in a skirmish two player game of Final Liberation when a Warlord titan was destroyd by swamping it with five squads of stormboyz in hth combat! Maybe this game did not use quite the best rules:P

  • @meanmanturbo

well, i meant that not in a game. If it would be a real fight (if 40k was real)

  • @jamohanleva heay tanks ca also be dangerous as well

  • @kullas924

Thats true, think its was the Banelord that had this big-ass plasma cannon to take down Battle-Titans in a single shot.

  • @jamohanleva

    no the titan has shields

  • warlord titan vs star wars "at at" i think the titan would win

  • A Warlord Titan would easily smash an AT-AT.

  • @wightknight121

Lol one of my friends say that an AtAt would own a titan. Sure they are about same size but aint got the firepower

  • @jamohanleva

Some titans are even bigger and carry fortesses on their back

  • @Terrorkarel

well i was thinking about the Reaver

  • @jamohanleva sry that is just a scout class titan the Emparor class titan is 4 times biger

  • @BrotherTarkus

Emperor class Titans whit the Imperator and Warmonger classes.

But the Reaver is much more common then an Emperor.

  • @wightknight121 WTF? Warlord Titan vs 100 AT-ATs the Warlord would win.

  • @wightknight121 The largest titans rival battleships, and are some of the largest war machines in the imperium. The AT-AT Isn't an SW equivalent.

  • @PINGASFIST at at vs warhound

  • @tanktank115 Warhound would run circles around the AT-AT. Warhound has the mobility and firepower to take out the AT-AT pretty easily.

  • @billyboyjennings why waist ammo did you see the chain blade? and what about what you didn't see the void sheild. anyway to hell with warhounds bring on the warlords!!!!!!!!

  • @billyboyjennings but it would be fun to watch

  • @wightknight121 1 space wolf vs an AT AT. space marine wins.

    AT AT's are laughable...

  • @RadicalPayne No no no! It doesn't work like that, you don't understand!

An AT AT is several hundred tons of durasteel, I don't think you understand just how big and dangerous they are.

While some 40K tanks and most walkers could take down an AT AT, a Space Marine is Still infantry! Unless the SM in question is armed with gap-closing equipment like jump or teleporter packs and HEAVY anti vehicle weapons like PowerFists or heavier weaponry than is mounted in fighter aircraft it's immune!

  • @wightknight121

just step on the AT AT and go on destroying things

  • every vaccine contains those ingredients and there have never been any direct ties to serious ailments and vaccines in the mainstream, Do you even know how a vaccine works?

  • I am sorry but why the hell does it need a chain saw. that small little chain saw cant even reach it's feet.

  • It doesn't need to reach it's feet, it only needs to reach the reactor core or the head of the opposing titan it is getting into close combat with. Anylonger and it would be off it's center of gravity when attacking. In the original game it was all warlord titan against warlord titan during the heresy.

  • its called a titan close combat weapon as in titan v titan combat, not infantry

  • Ha, I always loved the look the Commissar gives the Adeptus Mechanicus guy in this cutscene. He's thinking: "dude, keep your Titan fetish to yourself".

Finding the Titan site was always the point where the narrative campaign suddenly became much easier.

  • How many Titans does the Imperium have in use in the 41st millenium?

  • Nobody knows, my quess its around a 1000 big ones and around 5000 small (scout) ones.

  • Every Forge world has one or more Titan Legions. We know that there are thousands of Forge worlds. So I would estimate that the Imperium has at least tens of thousands of Titans.

  • but dont forget most ( i bet more the n two third of all titans) remain unused for the fear of losing them xD the ones that are almost only used are the warhound and the reaver class titans the rest of them usualy only come out of their "docks" or "barracks" or whatever when the imperiam is in special need of them.

  • that was at billyboyjennings XD

  • It's weird because many forge worlds still posses the knowledge to construct them.

  • 1. Lol why does an titan need a chainfist for? I cant realy think a titan would run around and meele enemies O_O

    2. Altough it is awsome, it is a bit undersized, i dont think you could fit a titan into the screen and still see the men talking (well they will be 2 black dots not bigger then an 0)

  • Most Titans are big, but not THAT big. This one, a Reaver, is a medium Titan.

And the chainfist is for fighting other Titans (and the ork equivalent, Gargants) at close range.

  • That's a Warlord.

  • -_-

    Whateva...

  • It's an old Warlord, back when Titans were known for carrying power fists to take down Great Gargant and Emperor Class Titans in the fluff.

If you don't think this is true, read Storm of Iron. It has a Titan fist fight in it.

  • @kakalunga The titan in this cut scene is a war lord class titan, it has two weapons on top. Reaver class titans only have one.

  • "Tis beautiful..."

Holt *thinking*: Not exactly the word I would use but alright...

  • The guy on the right also voices "Ceridan" in the game "Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat."

  • I wish you could use Titans in DOW.

  • No commissar or marine would ever dare lay a hand on a member of the Adeptus Mechanicus. They are so vital that they do not even have to worship the emperor, they are an entity to themselves and are responsible for all the technology of the Imperium.

  • wrong. That is actually the plot in the warhammer 40k novel "the souldrinkers omnibus" :)

  • And a part of the canon, the Mechanicus are untrustworthy and in many cases of politics unreliable. But their forge worlds, and their Titan Legions, are needed to keep the Imperium going in times of war.

They're also well known for using others, which backfired in Soul Drinkers. Badly.
