i used silver feathers for the wings on my for my halloween costume, and hot glue for the details. then attached a thin wire that wrapped around my finger.

a neat idea with the painting, is to paint the base a plain gold, and the design pieces a shiny paint. this would create depth and further detail than just one finish. also you could use a lighter gold than the other on either piece to create even more depth and detail!

@MidnaMagic95 What I liked about the spray paint was that there were no brush marks on the snitch. I think the ideal would be glossy metallic gold spray paint with a glossy finishing spray.
