I have grown up watching Godfather,Goodfellas Bonnie and Clyde but look at this, it takes you beyond all that , absolutley chilling beutifully shot no shouting no spraying bullets just absolute terror.Full marks to director producer and actors, they surpass the crescendo of acting and film making in this movie.
ramu is gr8 director and ajay can b compared only with al pacinos performance in godfather.............dis movie can b aal time gr8 mafia movie in holly and bolly
ok now vivek oberoi was very good in this movie, but thats about it...this is the best he is ever done..and is capable of doing any way..but i wanna point out to ajay devgan here..his was the performance of theee movie..on par with the finnest al pacino performances..and is never acknowledged..am not a big fan of his, but just the perfect way in which he has underplayed his characheter..no ott histroinics..this has to be his best performance along with khakee
this movie was blessing and a curse for vivek oberoi. its probably one of the bst/finest debuts in bollywood history, but he will always be associated as the tough guy role.
needles to say he also took roles which he had no business being in.
@majesticmaniac maybe you are not completely correct...if you say vivek oberoi was good in just this movie, then watch Rakta Charitra if you haven't. Company will look like a family movie in front of it. Vivek has acted very well. Nowadays if there are some serious, sensible and good actors left they are KK Menon, Sushant Singh, Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi. Rest of that lover boyz crowd like Shahid, Hrithik, SRK, Ranbir are all stereotype shit who can't give anything different.
These used to be movies that made me a die hard fan of ram gopal verma..this along with satya r in my opinion 2 of the greatest gangster movies ever made in india which can compete with any gangster movie on the international platform..sadly he has moved on to making total nonsense like aag and many more..even sarkar and sarkar raaj were just avg cos they were too over the top..unlike these classics..and can please anyone upload this whole movie here..it would be highly appretiated
