ok this is not about envy the churning of the sea milk is from india. and thailand and cambodia adapted it from there...but! cambodia did indeed adapted this before thailand. the carvings in the angkor wat proved it was a thousand yrs ago and thailand had just recently adapted to this.

I absolutely agree with you. But more clearly, Cambodia adapted the Churning of the Milk Sea since the Indian culture influenced us. I probably can say it was about 300BC. So a thousand years ago, we curved on the temple wall as treasure for the next Khmer descendants.

But I don't when Thailand was influenced by this Indian epic. It's Hindu epic, isn't it? Is Thai once influenced by Hindu? I don't know.

@rothima yes actually they were all hindu and buddhist kingdoms before , hindus and buddhists lived side by side buddhist teachings and hindu muthology and wisdom all lived together till i think islamic invasion cut all links of india ( mythological with its other sisters and brothers like thailand and Kamboj = Cambodia )

It is Hindo Metology, which is infulence to the whole south east asia region. Nothing to do with envy or Cambodia.

the churning sea of milk is a cambodian story. it is written on the walls of angkor. why does thailand have to reproduce something that does not belong to them and claim that it is their legacy? and that they know about the story for along time ago. but they had just adopted this, when they envy cambodia.

@letterzrnumbers It is in Hindu Scripture..it is also known in Indonesia..and almost imn all Southeast Asia. THerefore it belongs to all part of South East Asia that have been influenced by Hindu-Buddhost culture, such as: Cambodia, Thailand., Indonesia, etc.

@letterzrnumbers this not anyones property it was a sacred story from vishnu Puranas from Hindu Mythology. And indians spread it to all animists to cambodia and further to indonesia and malaysia. Till islamic conquests retricted religious practices and started killing people.
