  • i wish more humans would spontaneously combust. it would make my life better to have that shit go down randomly but often, like you run into the store for a drink and wait in line and then the cashier just all of sudden (or "spontaneously") flares up and starts to open the mouth to cream, i mean scream, but burns up into ashes so quickly no sound is ever heard. what a bunch of god damn bullshit! "perfect plan" my ass, the maker just don't know whats up. in my opinion anyways.

  • ok i need solder. ok i will go to UN and steal one

  • What do you do with the wires already attached to the hot and ground?

  • Button* Momantary?

  • I cant tell which one is A and which one is B.....they both look like O

  • Comment removed

  • 1...2...7.. So many spelling mistakes :L

  • @MBPtheFirst Whatever man.

  • it's butteon not botton

    It's Separate not seperate

    BTW nice video! =) Cheers!

  • @VinceUragVFX it's actually button, not "butteon."

  • @patmagroing It's actually a typo. :) Take it easy.

  • You spelled "then" wrong...

It's not "than pay attention", that's the wrong article. It's "then"

  • @ListedProduction Ok dick. I was like 13 or so when I made this.

  • @gunnerboy773 Congrats...?

  • @gunnerboy773 u mad bra?

  • is it meant to be push to make or push to break

  • you probably heard this one already but what do I do with the wires that are already on the output jacks hot and ground?

  • Momentary,separate,completely.Buy a dick-tionary.

  • is this for a normally open or normally closed switch?

  • @commando3033 open

  • @jhenderson93 you don't need to remove any mate, just drill a hole in the middle of the two or just wherever you have space ! (: watch out for any wires though and make sure the hole's precise :D

  • what about the wires already connected to the input jack?

  • i know there are 2 prongs on the output, but does it matter which side you solder the hot or ground to on the switch? and could you do this with a toggle switch instead of a button?

  • thanx for the great video, man

im gonna build myself a guitar and totaly do this

  • Right, so I'm thinking of doing this on a telecaster. Which only has two controls, one for tone and one for volume, which should I remove? The volume control or the tone control?

  • @jhenderson93 Remove the tone control. You'll need the volume of course.

  • So finally after like 2 and a half hours of fiddling with the damn guitar I managed to get the thing in there, carving holes and all. It works like a charm and is damn fun to mess with.. I feel so accomplished :D

  • Honestly out of all the videos i've seen, THIS is the ONLY one that made me feel confident about modding my guitar o_o TIME TO FIND WIRE BUAHAHAH :D

  • @Iraqnid2088 hahaha hope this video helped! :)

  • @gunnerboy773

Oh it did :D Im gonna bring my guitar to school tomorrow and impress my friends :D :D lol thanks a bunch dude I have this like newly acquired sense of confidence XD

  • @Iraqnid2088 haha no problem man!

  • @gunnerboy773

Damnit dont stalk me foo! lol jk XD Wtf are you replying to my comments so early for O_O lol XD

  • dude i dont get it if you didi this you would end up with just an output jack with a killswich. how would you get the killswithck to the pickup?

  • Can this work on any guitar ?

    btw greatt video

  • @slash32000 Yeah if your guirtar is an electric and has an output jack than it will work! and thanks

  • Idiot-proof :)

I liked your drawings as well :) They made it easier to understand :)

  • @trolden9520 haha this is idiot proof!

i should re-name the vid 'how to install an killswitch for dummys!'

  • @gunnerboy773 Yeah :P BTW, just installed my killswitch today, its easy as pie :) My only problem is that i had to run the wires behind the guitar, on the outer side :P It's on an SG, so i couldn't fit it in the room with the other knobs, and still having it easy availabe :P

  • how do you locate hot &ground

  • @CleburneZEROSk8er Ok dude on you INPUT JACK there are 2 PRONGS. those two prongs are the hut and ground.

  • this is actually the most helpful video ive seen so far

  • how would you install a togle kill switch like tom morello?

  • Same way dude. But instead of a button you can get a toggle

  • thanks

  • I liked it. Although maybe some music or somthing...

The drawings were great (although it made 20 gauge wire appear like 3o).

    5 stars if were allowed.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks dude!

  • cool, but I'm so lazy, can you istall a killswitch for me istead of doing it my self?

  • Haha

    dont be lazy

  • haha ^^ ok I'll do it then
