:L he looks like he's on an ice rink :L And I'm being serious, close your eyes and imagine a hamster being tested on. (I kno animal testing is bad) but this is seriously the firts pic that came in to my head. inside the hamsters head :L
You mean, that if Hyde really had walked out of his house, that the chair would be there, but the scene would be changed, or what. I'm hust asking what they used to get the damn chair off the stage. That big red square looks awfully flat.
On a live stage the props are on bords that slide or lift as you can see through the hole play. When the bords moved the chair fell. The chair is not nailed to the stage it can be moveid any were. That is why it fell It is a loos prop. I know how it works because I have been there LOL Not at this stage/play but I have been on them at them in them
I almost couldn't read your reply. Sorry. I didn't see the chair fall, but I guess they can have something almost unnoticeable on that stage. I guess they did something similar with the fire grate. I wish I could go out to see shows sometimes. I'm kind of a new fan of Broadway, ever since we did Beauty and the Beast in between my Sophomore year and Junior year. Les Mis was the first soundtrack I bought, so I didn't even know about Terrence Mann and what he did til after I got it.
I know everyone else didn't explain this well, so here it is; the magic of the chair moving off-stage is fishing line attached to the legs of the chair. We did this same thing in a production of Scrooge.
Can't get enough of this one!!! If you notice near the farthest left of the screen, you might see the German broad in the red dress dancing along with the others (sorry, can't keep my eyes off them).
Well, I guess that's why, then. Also, perhaps it's a transition to the whorehouse setting? (Of course I think of this after I post that other comment!)
@thejazztenor When I say "decent," I mean worthy of a supporting role in a volunteer commuity theatre in some obscure state. Broadway material? Not exactly. Oh, and for the idiot comment, fuck off.

I don't know WHY they staged "Alive" with half-naked girls in the background.
GeekInSequins 3 years ago
Well I think it is because Hyde is evil and is completely carnal, going after whatever he wants. And that includes sex.
