  • your voice is really good, i like it a lot :D

  • They have a concert series in my city here in the States that brings in a lot of great musicians from around the country. You sound just as good as a lot of them. I am not even exaggerating. You have potential @MajaToudal . Keep at it. Your voice is great, but your passion is carried through your voice. If you can touch someone else's heart by opening your own like this, that will be a great gift for any audience.

  • @RigelHopeStar Are you from Woodstock or Nashville? If you follow Maja's other channel (TheAnMish), you will know that she has asperger's syndorme. Well, Bob Dylan, he has been suspected to have it too. In light of this there is a thread about Maja on Expecting rain, it is in the other artists forum. You'll need to login or register to view it.

  • @MajaToudal You look an awful lot like @TheAnMish. You could be her twin! :-) Also, I thought you were going to play the E.T. (The Extra Terrestrial) theme. :-( :-)

  • @psx2514 bro majatoudal and theanmish are the same

  • @Oscargarciaserrano Really?! I didn't know that! Not to mention that the :-) means that I'm not being serious.

  • @psx2514 o hehe sorry, i am not familiar with the faces, my mistake :)

  • @Oscargarciaserrano Do you have (congential) prosapagnosia?

  • @psx2514 FYI ;-) means you're not serious, the comma is supposed to look like you're winking.

  • Wow! What a voice! Keep it up, Maja!

  • To be clear, except for the mic business, that was awesome - much better than Katie Perry's version in my opinion.

  • you seem to be much influenced by Tori Amos's music don't you?

  • @claessim I do quite like her :)

  • @MajaToudal You do remind me of her, your voices have similar tones, especially on high keys (or is it pitch? not sure what the word is...) I don't remember, have you ever had singing lessons?

  • @nuworath I have, yes. The last two years or so, I've finally been able to afford singing lessons. :)

  • I love it! Awesome job!!

  • It looks like the microphone is laying on the piano itself, which might explain why the vibrations from the keys popping up are so present in the recording. You might want to put a pillow between the foot of the microphone and the piano, or just put the mic somewhere else.

    Very nice song, though.

  • @Lexoka That's what I thought too. Is this the case Maja?

  • @MiniFrostGiant Yes, and I found a way to make the sound much better. I just haven't had time to redo this, 'cause I've been way too busy :)

  • @MajaToudal Good to know. Now I don't have to wonder about that every time I see the video.

When you are busy. Eat well and rest plenty. Have a Great week too Maja.

  • I liked it!

I would love to hear you do just the Kayne part at some point (ridiculous lyrics so I'd find it amusing for you to do)

  • Thanks for the goosebumps, they were awesome.

  • Wow. You're such a great singer

  • The key popping sound is from having the mic on the piano. Try using a tack and string from the wall or ceiling?

I can't wait to download your album!!

  • Glad to have your voice back online, maja! Although I still prefer the live performances ;)

  • the piano percussion is not a detraction. it creates a certain texture for this, that i like. i tend to keep noise like that around if i happen to get it in something i've recorded. usually when it isn't overtly disconnecting the user from the listening to the main voices.

  • WooooooooooooooooooooHooooooooooooooooooooh !!! Well sung and love that song also !!! =o)

    -Peaceful Cheers~

  • Your voice is beautiful! And the keys making sound really doesn't matter. Don't let it bother you ;-)

  • Bravo! Well sung!

  • Great song love it! You sing really good. Regards and have a skilful time. Pinge (Looks like the microphone is standing on the piano and if it dose it is probably because of that your keys pop as they do) ( if not I was wrong and still like the song) ;-)

  • Don't fret the "key-pops", it's your voice that I love.

  • Very well done.

  • ...and this, boys and girls, is what it sounds like when an angel sings...

  • Amazing!
