  • Hey Eric... I do exactly the same, however, I added new progression to those which is simply a weight on the leg you won't bend it in. it's going be very difficult especially with weight around 8 pounds.

    Regards and thanks man :)

  • Your clips are the FIRST i've ever bothered to subscribe since using youtube...ever!! That's just how much i appreciate what you are sharing. ;-)

Thanks for all these...wishing you plenty of success!! Along with your clients too!!

  • Hey Eric. This looks like a great exercise. Just to be clear. I do 3 sets of 15 reps of each exercise or 15 reps of all those exercises?

  • gotta add this for my ab workout gotta get those damn abs all girls drool over man

  • Some good advice and great technique. Thanks for sharing.

  • Dude is super Canadian...

  • It's hard for me to respect a guy who uses a red-orange-pinkish ball to train for a bloody full-contact sport like MMA...Sorry, just my opinion.

  • @leopoldvs

Worst comment I've read so far.

  • @leopoldvs Very bad comment, immature and absolutely Stupid. i feel sorry for you're mom. that she made a kid like you.

  • hey thanks for the imformative techniques that you've shown me. i recently joined a kajukenbo program, and this will surely help me with my muscle control as well as my core strength. it has really helped me with my balance on my right leg, don't know why, but it is weaker than my left.

  • going to add this up in my workout routine..nice dude

  • Great video, I like how you explain it slower than most and explain what not to do!

  • great advice, just one more thing I gotta do at the gym now haha

  • This is nuts!!! Probably works though...?

  • how many reps should be done with these

  • thanx for all the videos

  • I'm feeling the movement. I'm a tall guy and I utilize my kicks in training amd I know the core is the power house when it comes to kicks and ground work. Really appreciate you putting this video out there and hope to see more of them!

  • great job!

  • Hi Eric, I was wondering about the neutral position in the back... if I want to work my abs instead of my hips flexors, shouldn´t I crunch my hips?

  • @matiasmanzi

The abs are working as stabilizers even if you don't crunch up and lose that neutral position... I think the neutral position should be trained more than most people do which is why I recommend doing so in this video.

  • As allways great info. Info on form is the best stuff, not manny trainers insist on correct form.

  • great stuff ! ive also seen people add a press up to the flat jacks just to "spice" it up" ...great form !

  • Great form, will show this tomorrow to my buds at the dojo

  • Thanks for the good words guys!

Have fun with it (and the inevitable soreness you'll experience)... :)

  • Great tutorial Eric!!! I like your emphasis on PERFECT FORM and keeping the spine in a neutral position. Everybody posting tutorials please take notes from Eric. You are also teaching the progressions, which are crucial. Those are really some awesome core exercises. I am not an MMA guy. I am just a regular guy who wants to SLOWLY increase my functional strength and flexibility. Thank you for sharing the knowledge brother. I will be looking forward to more of your tutorials. Peace!!

  • nice variations - thanks very much - will be trying the flat jacks tomorrow in the gym!
