America does do to much football and basketball. I used to play those 2 then started rugby and I take rugby over those other 2 but a lot of ppl here call it gay or boring and all they talk about is football and basketball. From my experience they do.
Both teams displayed some fantastic Rugby. It's really encouraging to see these nations step up and hopefully will be competing with the best of them in years to come.
U.S needs to promote it they have to if they would open it up they can be such a great time i mean look! start promotign it in america get the sport heard and enjoy
How many people in USA acually play rugby? The reason you guys probably aren't one of the top countries is that no one plays there
In New Zealand every school has a rugby team, at my school there are almost 650 students that play rugby out of the 1000 so if you had everyone convert from "football" in America you guys would be awesome!!!
@jd757xy The sport is actually pretty big. In Utah, for instance, the sport is massive. It is strong in many different parts of the country including California, Arizona, Colorado and North Carolina. The USA Sevens team is starting to pull off great results against teams like Argentina and France and the same players are going on to play pro rugby.
@jd757xy I agree. plus Americans can be literally from ANY COUNTRY... we can be versatile in that sense.. we have one of the most diverse cultures in the world.. We can have some players that have heritages in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa all on the American team. We COULD be great.. and i'm not sure why it isn't popular in America.. It's faster and more violent then "football"
@jd757xy In colorado, where I live, rugby is represented by about four schools per team. Its a growing sport, and in this state, there are about 30 high school clubs in 2 divisions.
@DerrenBrown100 now hang on their Derren brown100 if rugby really picks up over the next 10 years and they get more players from gridion and get better coaches they could very well possible have a gud match with the top teir teams. but if they stay at the same pace they are now they never will, there needs to be more intrest and more players going to the super 14, top 14 and mangers leauge they very well could be a force.
Very good game of rugby, clean and open. Better spectacle than most Magners League games. It would be great to see the game grow in both countries, particularly Russia, they'd have fearsome packs judging by the boxers they're coming up with in the heavey weight divisions
@Flamz0rz you're fucking joking me, upcoming country my ass, usa r shit, stick to the nfl and hockey bunch of yanks don't know shit about rugby fucking rofl!!!
@baazhimself learn to fucking read kid. i said 'imo' which means in my opinion. and yes they are an upcoming country cuz they are becoming better at it.
@Flamz0rz do i fucking give a shit if its in your opinion? you don't know shit about rugby and leave it to the big boys before you start thinking you own the place ye, fokin yanky twat
@baazhimself im not from america. i have all the freedom of saying what ever the fuck i want. im probally bigger then you are and i've played for a national team.
@Flamz0rz ok I underestimated you, however you probably played for holland..... which to be honest isn't a great achievement is it? you are also probably bigger than me as i'm only 17 but i could still kick your ass mate
@baazhimself i've actually played for italy under 17s and under 18s so if you have anything else to say? dude; why even rant over a video and some comment some dude made; you're pathetic.

THINK THAT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EAGLES AND ENGLAND FIRST TEAM ISN'T MORE THAN 10%.

Yep, the Eagles are a very competitive team in rugby. These guys are getting more competitive every year.

@OBJones27 I was disappointed to see the Eagles get utterly ruined by the Saxons last weekend despite being English.

@jd757xy The United States has 90,000 registered players, population means nothing when it comes to International sport.

@jd757xy Or play rugby in a different season. This way football players (like me) would be able to do both
